DL walk of magical memories bricks

I will be at DL starting on April 30, and I will make sure to look for any new bricks, lol. I am in that C8 group, but I cannot imagine mine would be in yet, too soon. They told me then that they send them to the manufacturer in batches, and they were waiting to send the last group together. Maybe they got so many they split up the last batch though. I hope I can sort of figure out where mine goes, looking at the bricks that are there, get a feel for the placement pattern. And take a before and after photo, haha.

They can just swap these out quickly? I thought at WDW when they placed them they roped off the area for a week or so when installing them.

I just hope mine goes in for D23.

Well...I checked my card today and there's a pending charge from Disney Merch!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They charged me for my brick!!! Woo Hoooooooo!! No paperwork or anything yet, that will come while we are gone.

I CANT BELIEVE I MISSED THIS!!! Well I guess I can because im new to this site but wow what a bummer. I would LOVE to have a brick. Does anyone have any idea if they will be selling them again...ever?!? I sure hope so. Besides this site how did everyone find out them were selling them?

onlyn2urmoney - It's my understanding they stopped this program for good. But I do remember there was at least one occasion, several years ago, where they stopped the sales for a period of time. I know this because DH and I wanted to buy a paver and were told by CMs in City Hall they weren't available at that time, but to keep an eye out in case they started selling them in the future.

Well, sure enough we visited City Hall last October and saw they were on sale again and I grabbed an order form. I basically sat on it until I saw the announcement on the Disboards "Disneyland Updates" that the sales would end on February 28th. So I grabbed my CC and ordered that very day - on Valentines Day!

So, my best guess if they will sell them again is: probably not, but you never know.

I spoke with the Merchandise people yesterday, and they said to expect the paperwork in about 3 weeks. It's kind of a long story why she called me, but I didn't call and pester them. I can't wait! I have been able to keep it a secret from the family so far...

We received our paperwork today, ordered on the last day, but we do have to change our inscription. We are also in C-19. Sent an email and waiting for a response hopefully at the first of the week.

Boy is Disney fast. Got into the office this AM about 0615 and there was the email about the corrections and the new certificate. The email stated that it had been sent at 0605 this morning.

I got my paperwork yesterday! The only thing is, I want to change the wording, I think...right now it reads..."The Powells (on top line) husband & me (2nd line) daughter & son (3rd line)
I kind of wanted to put in there that we are from Alaska, not sure how to incorporate it? I thought about doing:
Powells~Theron, Kelly,
Kelsey, Ian
Palmer, Alaska

Not sure that will fit??

Write them an email, include how you want it to read and they will let you know what they can do. They a very quick with their response.

Unfortunately, you can only have 16 letters, spaces and punctuation per line....Line 1 and 2 above have 17.

I tried calling to ask for 1 more letter on 1 line and they said no....but it never hurts to try!

But do you really NEED Alaska in it? Powell may be a somewhat common name but I doubt there is another family anywhere with a Theron, Kelly, Ian and Kelsey!
