DL tickets and reservations - April 15!

Bought tickets (using a gift certificate) and have been waiting for 35 minutes to process. Is this normal?

no, once you buy your tickets click on the Disneyland logo at the top, then scroll down and click on park reservations. you won't need to re-queue.
This didn't happen for me! I am back in the freaking one hour queue. But I bought a hotel + tickets package. This is really maddening.

ETA: my hotel/ticket reservation is not showing up in my account. I got a confirmation email though.

That's kinda what I've been thinking - especially once they announced that parkhopping was happening, that Avengers Campus was opening, and that they were accepting Tier 2 1-Days for a few weekdays - I don't think they're worried about capacity.

With no APs, there's a lot of extra room. And a lot of APs are probably just buying 2- or 3-day tickets, hoping that Memberships are coming soon.

I'm assuming there's potentially like 100,000+ tickets over 60 days, too.

I bet there are closer to a million. If I remember correctly, maximum capacity for both parks is well over 100,000. Even at 15% capacity, that would mean there are 900,000 potential tickets open for 60 days.

My queue came up and kicked me back into the queue with more than an hour wait again when I tried to purchase tickets

I was able to reopen it, but same thing happened. In about 5 minutes (definitely less than 10 minutes), it decided my queue ID was no longer valid

Me too. I don't have ticket numbers, I wonder if they just access my account to make the reservation. I am stressed out!
Same here. GC reservation confirmed, and tickets purchase but no ticket numbers and unsure how I’m supposed to make a reservation if I ever get through. ...I’ve been trying to scan this thread for info while also working, but for those who did hotel+ticket+park this morning, did it allow you to book park reservations without having ticket numbers?

Crazy, I had so many devices open and in queue and two move pretty quickly into getting access, but the rest are over an hour. I am leaving them open in the hopes they move and I get help some of you out.

has anyone had trouble receiving their tickets via email?

My tickets came about 10 minutes after my purchase / reservation. I took screenshots of the reservation numbers prior to getting the email, just in case.

Also, I believe I got into the queue quicker because of having the landing reservation page up and on my browser from a couple days ago, when the link was posted Monday. Just a hunch, but it was the one browser (out of 3 I was trying) that actually provided me success.

Noooooooo! I am so sorry!

I'm thinking they have to account for park hoppers. So one park hopper takes up one space in both parks.

I was able to buy a package through the hotel. How do I make park reservations now? It is sending me back to the queue.

Sent you a DM

Oh no! So what is the advantage of buying a package if you can't reserve park?
I did this because I wanted specific dates in Dec. I figured I wouldn't be able to reserve a park until they open up those dates, but thought having tickets and an on site reservation might give me an edge.

Edited to add: and they're only asking for a $200 deposit total, not one night's cost.
Edited again to add: I just realized they only charge $200 because it's a package, so the total amount is due a month before you go. I haven't gotten tickets in so long I didn't think about that.

I am sure their reservation system accounts for that in real-time, not every tickets is a park hopper. 900,000 is at 15% capacity and they are actually able to open at 25% capacity.

wishing everyone on this community board good luck.
i am SUPER late to this game as I just joined the tix queue 45min ago. :confused3
