DL tickets and reservations - April 15!

When we buy tickets, how do we know what tier our day falls on? Is there a calendar? Just wanting to be sure I don't mess this up lol.

I'm heading off to bed now so I can get up early and be ready to go.
What time is everyone getting up and getting on?

I wish everyone on here the best of luck in getting the dates you want to go.

I am super nervous about tomorrow. The only really big date I'm going for is opening day. Others are just scattered in May in June. Crossing my fingers for April 30th.

See you guys in the morning.

I'll have alarms going off by 7am to start myself moving. It's only the waiting room for the queue prior to the queue opening and placement in the queue is random. And since we know "not before 8am", I feel safe enough getting some sleep (unlike ToD). I just got my second shot today so I'm giving myself as much time to sleep as possible lol. Only still awake right now because my friend's eldest daughter needed a ride home from work.

Goal is I'm at least groggily looking at my laptop and phone by 7:30am :rotfl:

It's really hard to not get hopes up. I've got three possible weekends in May set aside to try in order of preference. I'm really hoping Marvel Campus being open June 4 will allow me to book those May dates no problem. I really want to see Marvel Campus, but I'll wait until my next trip.

And if I don't get reservations? Oh well. I'll be sad, but I'll live. Silver lining is it would be money saved towards a new pass when those are announced, lol!

For people who have done this in the past (we were AP holders and are new to buying tickets/reservations), how do you find this infamous “queue” to get in prior to the 8AM ticket release time?

As soon as someone stumbles on it, it'll be posted here.

Best guess, probably here:
https://disneyland.disney.go.com/tickets/

If not specifically there, there will probably be a button added to that page sometime before 8am. (Probably around 7:30a.)

There should be a pre-queue "waiting room" that will start first. The waiting room isn't first-come, first-serve - everyone in there when the queue starts (likely at 8am) will hit the queue at roughly the same time - so there's no real advantage to being the first in the waiting room.

IT 96B89D52-2935-4A28-BE14-8A30984D3BD5.jpegIt all ready put us in a que. Thank you for adding that link. I've been up for awhile and I couldn't find the preque que, or anything that looked like it was to wait to buy tickets. <3

I tried getting on the virtual queue through my phone browser and it doesn't show. only shows on my computer

Well they opened the waiting room for the queue early! They said "not before 8am" for things to open open so this could be a long waiting room :rotfl:

I have multiple computers open so I had to copy the link from the "big" Mac to paste in messenger for the other computers to get it too.

That's what I thought too. Maybe they opened because of the amount of traffic their site is getting. Might as well do it Disney style and get us all lined up nice and neat. Any one else see the arms extended with two fingers above the cast members head waving back and forth in the air filing us into our que! :rotfl:

Thanks for the link! I have 2 browsers going and the coffee is ready. I'm saving my phone to try at exactly 8am, because I'm paranoid like that.

Most likely!

And it's definitely Disney style. Fill in all available space and then free for all trying to get back into an organized line again LOL
