That's very exciting! We have an old one that continues to refuse to be linked. Perhaps with this new extension it will now....soon. Like tomorrow soon
I know we sold some at a silent auction that we earned in 2019, so it was good til January 2021.... I let the people I knew that had bought them then that didn't get a chance to use them that they were still good...
But here's more information, including the FAQs:
We have some very exciting news to share with you today. Many of you have reached out asking about charitable tickets earned in 2018, 2019 and 2020 with expiration dates that passed during the park closure. We are happy to share that all unused charitable DisneylandĀ® Resort tickets earned through the Disney Family Volunteering Reward Program with an original expiration date between March 14, 2020 through March 13, 2022 will be extended through December 14, 2022.
If your ticket is linked to a Disney account, you can see the changed expiration date in the next few days by logging into Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app. You will not receive a new paper ticket; the date will be updated on your Disney account. We know that many of you have given tickets earned through the Disney Family Volunteering Reward Program to volunteers, or have gifted them as part of your fundraising efforts. Therefore, we ask that you share this update with anyone who has earned or been gifted a ticket from your organization.
To enter a park, all Guests ages 3 and older must have a theme park reservation and a valid ticket to the same park on the same date. Theme park reservations can be made up to 60 days or more in advance, subject to availability. To accommodate as many types of ticket holders as possible, reservations for select dates may be made available on a rolling basis. Check for updated availability. Theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability, and park admission is not guaranteed. Until further notice, only California residents may visit the parks, and in groups no larger than 3 households, in line with current state guidelines. Proof of residency may be required.
Starting at 8:00 AM Pacific Time on April 12, 2021, the theme park reservation system will open, and existing ticket holders will be able to check availability and make their park reservations, subject to their ticket type. Be sure to log in to your Disney account first to link valid tickets prior to accessing the reservation system.
As you prepare to visit, please know that the DisneylandĀ® Resortās gradual, phased approach to reopening considers the guidance of government and local health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In addition to enhanced cleaning measures and adjustments to promote physical distancing, face coverings (ages 2 and up), temperature screenings and park reservations will be required for all guests.
