I might be pregnant during our DL trip this summer. We plan to goto both parks. For those of you who have gone to DL and CA pregnant, did you enjoy your trip? Is there much to do in CA whle pregnant? Thanks!

Absolutely. I went twice while pregnant with DS, once at 6 weeks and once at 6 months. I felt him kick for the first time while there, I'll never forget that!!

Anyways, there is a lot to do. You can ride Monsters, Soarin, Bug's Land rides (no bumper cars) carousel, jumpin jellyfish, golden zephyr, sunwheel (if you don't get sick) and see all the shows and entertainment also!
Have a great trip!

I agree. I was 4 months along on one trip, and it was tiring to be on my feet for so long, but it was still a great trip. There are a few rides you can't do like Indy and Autopia, but most rides are fine. Good luck and have fun!

I had a blast and went at 5 months. Like previous posters said, you can do most rides. Just make sure you have enough water and take breaks when your family is riding the rides you can't. I had an absolute awsome time. Have fun!

I rode these same rides at 7 months pregnant!

I went to DL when I was 10 weeks pregnant with my first son (way back in 1994!). My mom had some cousins visiting from France and they wanted to see DL so my parents, my sister and I took them. I left DH home to work and feed the bunny!

I remember that my dad had just had a mild heart attack about 2 months earlier. He was taking things very easy on the trip. I was still in the queasy 1st trimester stage so dad and I sat on a lot of benches and dozed off. We went on some of the tamer rides while my sister, my mom and her cousins did other stuff. My mom still rants about what an idiot Captain Rex was on Star Tours. Luckily, we only live about 7 hours from DL so we go often. I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything by having an less-active trip.

(By the way, Dad ended up having a quadruple bypass about 5 years later. He's now 81 and doing fine. My parents will be spending a day with us at DL when we go this August. We think we talked Dad into renting a scooter since his legs get sore. He loves going to DL with my 2 boys who are now 11 & 8!)

When I read the title of this thread, it made me wonder if DL was getting ready to give birth to a third park... :rolleyes1

Don't forget about the Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Small World, Winnie the Pooh, Autopia, and Nemo (probably). Just none of the big coasters or anything too jerky. I went at 8 months pregnant and while it was exhausting we still had a great time and I went on a lot of rides.

It's really not the jerkiness you have to be concerned about - fast rides are risky because the force may cause the placenta to seperate from the uterus.

Oh I went on all those too!! I was just responding about DCA rides because she asked if there was enough to do at DCA and I think there still is plenty when pregnant!!

I forgot at DCA I also did the Brother Bear ropes course thing. Can you tell nothing stopped me when I was pregnant! There is plenty to do while being pregnant on your trip there. :)

Just dont get the impression to give birth in Disneyland would give you life time passes. people always thought that. If and when you do give birth in Disneyland, there isnt really a place to give birth but outside whereever you are whenever it is. Surrounded by security guards for protection. haha. i seen it before at DCA.

Just went with friends this weekend.......other DW is 4 months preggers, she went on Alice, Small World, Storybook Canal, Carosel, Soarin', Flik's Flyers, Heimlics chewchew, monsters inc. and the Sunwheel (non swinging) she did great, but got pretty tired by the 3rd day. The only thing, with all the walking during the day the baby slept and moved around all night long.

I went when I was 6 months pregnant and 7 months pregnant. I had a good time and rode a lot more rides then I thought I would be able to ride. I did need to take frequent breaks to rest my feet tho....When I was 7 months pregnant my feet had swollen up to the size of watermelons by the end of the day (at least that's how big they felt!) But still had a good time!
