DL Plan for a Monday morning?

This is for the Monday of Thanksgiving week. We plan to get here at DL park opening and will have my DH, along with 5y/o and 1y/o in a stroller. We want to hit Fantasyland first - but would it be best to go snag fast passes to Star Tours before? I would like to send DH as a fp runner but it is important to me to ride altogether for our kids' first time - plus I need extra hands in case of meltdowns. So I am thinking of having us all go down to get the ST fp together, then run to Peter Pan, Dumbo, Tea Cups, IASW (read here that lines are long bc of holiday overlay). These are my short list of must-rides for our first DL morning. If anyone has critiques or tips I would totally appreciate any help!

I'd still send your DH to get FPs. He can navigate quicker on his own and you can head to Peter Pan, park the stroller and be ready to get in line when DH gets back. We usually do this and DH comes along right after we get situated outside the ride.

I doubt you will have problems with melt downdowns while you are moving.


If DH gets going quickly up mainstreet or out of the Rope Drop crowd he can get the FPs quickly. Then turn around and make a hard right through the rock at the TL entrance. This path through the rock continues along the side of the Castle by the Wishing Well. He may beat you to PP.

Agree in sending DH to get FP for ST. That ride fills up fast and FP's go fast.
