I must be a crazy one. DL is at it's best for me when it is HOT!!!
That's probably correct or maybe even low. Our patio thermometer is showing 100° right now at about 4:30pm. But it's a dry heat.We were there today (mon 4/20) and it was UGLY HOT!
The reading on my car isn't always the most accurate, but I actually believe the 100°F it showed when we left the Mickey & Friends garage at about 2:30 this afternoon.

I have a grandbaby that was sweltering.I poured a water bottle on her to cool her off.
Yuck! I can't stand the hot weather. Anything above 75 is too warm for this Oregonian! (hard to believe I'm an Arizona native, lol)
That reminded me of when DS was small enough to be worn in a back carry in the Ergo or Mei Tai...one of the beautiful things about it was that whne it was hot, if I passed a bottle of water back to him to drink, I was guaranteed a nice, cold and wet back and neck!

I pray for the winter to come every year! I hope it's not much worse when I go. I hear that it's a dry heat, and here it's the humidity that kills us, it's the worst!
Now, I wouldn't want to run marathons in it, but being out in the shade is ok. I've been to DLR during a heatwave and some of the rides shut down because of it. According to the cast member it was to save electricity since air conditioners were going at full capacity.
Currently, it's 46.4 degrees F here at 11 PM, and we still have a couple of small snow patches on our lawn. During the day, it's been around 50 degrees F and everyone here is finally glad to shed our winter coats, and are wearing T-shirts outside. No wonder we Northern Canadians don't take to the L.A. heat so well, LOL!
