DL in Feb?

I am thinking of taking Georgia to DL for her seventh birthday. What is the weather like and the park.

I went in February between Lincoln and Washington's birthday. Though I wasn't there on Monday, friends who were told me it was insane. Wednesday wasn't too bad, but Friday night was really packed and Saturday was pretty busy too. I would avoid both the Presidential birthday weekends if at all possible, but they do run the fireworks then if you want to see them, in which case I would make Friday the last day.

My family has been twice in February. Earlier in the month though. I would steer clear of the presidents holidays also. Weekends seem to always be busy no matter what time of year you go. We always try to have our days in the park be on weekdays instead of the weekend if at all possible. As for the weather we have lucked out with very little rain. This past February it rained the night we got there but not again after that. It certainly wasn't hot weather. We had highs of mid 60's to low 70's. Which I prefer to the sweltering heat.

Feb is a great time to go. Just avoid the Pres week. And go later in the month if possible. It rains a lot in Feb but it technically one of the slowest times at the parks. Good luck deciding.
