DL car Rental BWPPI

So I am trying to decide where we should rent a car from for a few days this coming Nov and the hotel said That Select-Rent-A-Car has an office there? Has anyone used them, if so how much? How was the service?

We used their services in Nov.'10. Prices were high from what I remember but we were just renting a car for the day (overnight). We did choose a higher end car as we wanted to enjoy the experience of driving around California with the top down! It was $84 for a Mustang convertible. I thought it was really pricey for just a one day rental but was super convenient. The people who work there were very nice and helpful as it was our first trip to SoCal and they helped us out with many directions. On our trip in July'11 we rented from DTD (the name evades me right now! ) It was much cheaper at $75 for 3 days for a Dodge Charger.

Was it a far walk to the Alamo at DTD? or is the convenience of right in the lobby worth the extra cost? We will be staying there for 9 nights and will need the car for 2 days at the start and 2 days at the end of out stay.

Well, I always like to save money if I can soooo the walk was worth it to me! I guess it depends on how far you are interested in going to save a bit. The Alamo (thank you - completely drew a blank!) is at the very end of DTD, closest to the Disneyland Hotel. It is a bit of a walk but we wanted to go to DTD anyways so it wasn't out of the way for us.
