DL before Thanksgiving

Haven't been to DL in a long time
Looking to drive down to DL from the Bay area for a 3 day trip before Thanksgiving.

Was looking to either drive down Sat Nov 17 and stay 3 days till Tue or drive on the Sunday and stay until the Wed

Do you think DL will be busier than normal on that Sunday ?

If so, we can stay for Mon through Wed and leave late on Wed
That would mean driving back 6 hours to the Bay area late Wed eve (7pm ish)
Not sure if traffic would especially be heavier then

Any thoughts as to Sun or Mon for the first day at DL ?

I don't know about Sunday, but I was there the Tuesday before Thanksgiving last year and it was crazy crowded. I would expect the Sunday would be much busier than a non-holiday Sunday. Many local school districts get the whole week off. I have heard the days before Thanksgiving are actually busier than the Friday to Sunday after Thankgiving. Maybe because more people are shopping the after-Thanksgiving sales.
