DIY pirate costume help! (for adult female-me) lol

My boys want me to dress up like a pirate too.. Im not going and buying a $50 costume though for the party.. So Im trying to think of how I can throw something together at home for myself.. Any ideas??

wear a white shirt/blouse, black pants or skirt (maybe you can find something cheap at a thrift store and fringe it). Wear a bandana, a scarf for a belt, you could probably find an eye patch at the $ tree. I'm sure you could see lots of pics for ideas if you googled it.

great ideas!! thanks!! maybe i can get some cheep red and white stripe fabric at the craft store and tie it around a black cotton pencil skirt to have it look kinda like this...

We went to Goodwill and got pretty much that exact same outfit! Black capris, white blousy shirt, a vest and an eye patch. I still have to get the kids bandanas and then we are going to go to the fabric store and get some red fabric for the belts. Easy peasy!
