Just an FYI, we went to the Dive in movie on friday night at HRH. I've always wanted to do this but t has seemed we always forget. It was awesome. And if it wasn't 35º it would have been better! There were some people (must have been Alaskans) that were actually in the pool. They set up a huge screen with very loud speakers, you grab a lounge chair & the warm comfy comforter from your room, hot chocolate and cozy up to watch the movie. They also had a light menu to order from but after my hot chocolate was gone my lips were too frozen to eat!
BTW, this weeks movie was Josie & the Pussycats, okay not my taste but the kids enjoyed it!

I'm glad they're still doing that. I assumed it would be a summer event. I'm sorry it was so cold during your trip. Was it warmer other days? How was your time in the parks? (I'm almost afraid to ask, in another post I read about your dh flying home)

what time did they show the movie? We will be there this Friday!!!!! Our big meal will be lunch at Mytho and I really did not want ot wait forever at CW for dinner. This sounds like a good fun option for us.

It started at 7:00, I'd get there about 30 minutes earlier so you can get a front longe chair. Also bring or buy some hot chocolate packages, every night I'd make up some in the room with the coffee maker it was a great money saver!

It was cold every day except the day we left! LOL That's okay I just wish I brought a coat & I had to go buy socks & gloves!
Yeah, my FIL isn't doing well so my DH had to fly home. We were so looking forward to having him with us this trip since I take the kids up by myself a lot. I'll be driving to Norfolk/Boston on Wed. I guess. I'm not ready to fly yet.
Anyway, Meeting up with Robinrs was fun & kept my mind off my husband not being there. The express lines were none to maybe a 10 minute wait which was wonderful.
I tried to have lunch at Mythos but HRH gave me the wrong hours! But had great meals at Trattoria, Mama Dellas & Hard Rock Cafe.
My son was a bit hard to manage (Robin can verify this) because Daddy wasn't around & he was very upset about it. But we made the best of it & still had a good time. thanks.

Thanks for the info, we will be staying at the HRH Jan 18-21. I hope it warms up a bit. Thanks for the hot choc tip, I never would have thought of bringing some even though I have about 4 boxes of it..

Patty

Glad you had fun despite the setbacks.
