It has been a busy two weeks for me since I last posted. Week one I was busy making a bracelet for the easter swap. I enjoyed working on it and now want to start a bracelet for me. I make more jewelry for gifts than myself. Week 2 I was busy with work and spening time with my Uncle. He is going thru chemo and radiation at the same time. He is getting tired he showed me how to feed him thru his tube-he still has four more weeks left.
I am on spring break right now and I need it. I slept until 9:00 this morning and it felt so good.

Well I have been reading past post and lots is going on. Trips to disney world-Never have been there maybe one day. Cruises-I have been on two loved them both-never a disney cruise- and when I looked up disney cruised i didn't realize they had so many to different places.

Everyones vinylmations are cute. I have a couple but have never traded and don't know what chasers are. We do the pin trading.

We are headed out to Disneyland on Wed. We planned it because my daughters friend wants to go. She worked for her step dad to get extra money and she was so excited and was asking if we could go on certain rides. Well now her mom says she can't go-didn't give a reason. We have done things together - we all just went prom dress shopping a couple weekends ago so it isn't because the mom doesn't know me. My daughter says th mom gets moody sometimes. We will probably pick up her friend a Belle gift-her favorite princess.

Hi Monica!
DD24 & I were at the parks on Friday, too!
And we ate dinner at HB and had the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich with SP fries. I loved it.We thought the parks were a mad house and other than seeing the Aladdin show only did three rides.:sad2: We did shop, eat and rest a lot though! We'll have to meet up next time. :)
How funny we ate same place and we also went to aladdin show. We probably crossed paths at some time. On that note do people wear the LGMH when they go to disneyland. I came across a thread that talked about them and then went to home depot to get some. I made them and I'm going to put it on my bag I carry.

Morning Ladies!!

The sun finally showed itself yesterday.....it was pretty exciting to know it was still there!!

Went out to karaoke Saturday night & my hubby says I'm a pro now.......I got "paid" for singing......lol After I sang My Immortal (Evanescence), a young hottie came up & thanked me for singing it & how great it was, yada yada yada & then he bought me a drink!! lol  Gosh, it was pretty funny but grrrrrrrrrrrr (in a good way) I was a bit pink in the cheeks. :flower3:

Hope Monday treats you all well!!

The only way I would get paid to sing would be them giving me $$ to STOP singing

:lmao: You sound like my husband......he sings tenor......ten or eleven miles away from me......lol :rotfl2:

I asked him if it made him uncomfortable having another guy by me a drink & he said "heck no........I'll pimp your voice anyday!!!" :rotfl:

Do you do the 1/2 marathon? That's another one of those things I've been lurking & thinking about doing. Not a runner anymore, but it might give me some motivation to get back into it. I did run the 5K on Castaway Cay in December while on our cruise. That should count for bonus points considering I had enough food & alcohol in me that I should have exploded the minute my foot hit the pavement!

Yep, I'm doing the half this year for the first time! I'm not a runner at all, but I'm trying to get in shape so I figured this was my best hope. I'm doing Bay to Breakers(12k) in San Francisco next month and the Davis moo-nlight half in July. I also entered the lottery for the Nike 1/2 in San Francisco in October...never thought I'd enter a lottery to pay money to run. If I don't get in for the Nike then I'm planning on doing the 1st half of the San Francisco marathon in July (I've always wanted to go across the Golden Gate on foot).
I definitely give you bonus points on the 5k!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was kinda depressing, I went bridesmaid dress shopping and it turns out that I'm the only bridesmaid that isn't a size 2. So now I'm gonna look like a whale in my dress while everyone else looks like a model. Oh well.

Running?? Not for me! Unless I'm running in DL or WDW :)

And you're beautiful, don't think anything different

I looked into it and the Disneyland 1/2 is already full:headache:.
My GS troop will be walking across the GGB on May 7th, the GS Nor Cal do a big celebration and everything for girls who are bridging from Juniors to Cadettes. Much easier way to go across on foot and probably cooler weather too, lol.

and I for one don't think size has anything to do with how good you look in a dress. I'd rather look like Kirsty Ally then a skinny crack ho anyday, I'm sure you'll be beautiful!:bride:

It went well - Reno is so much fun! My artist, Danny entered in my ship, a black side piece of a Gryffin in the large black and grey category, and a flower and butterfly arm piece in most realistic. The entry table put me in Most Unique. After crossing the stage and showing my piece, I went backstage to show the judges up close. Two of them wanted to move me to Best Traditional piece, but the third judge said no. I would have won if I was in that category. The flower and butterfly piece won, which is Danny's first award. He is so happy! We will be finishing my peacock tattoo on the 28th and then starting several more pieces. I did get my photo taken by some magazines so I am hoping my tattoos are in one :wizard: My friend who lives in Reno met up with me and her, Danny, and I played black jack till around 2 am ( I won $80!).

I have exactly zero tattoos but I have this strange obsession with other people's! I'd love to see yours! (eww that was kinda creepy, I mean like, I'd liketo admire their artistic value..you know what I mean!)

Afternoon gals!

Beth your day yesterday sounded fun. Sorry you and Ruben weren't able to do the overnighter but sounds like you had fun none-the-less. Hope you enjoyed your day today with your in-laws. Are they still here or have they gone home yet? Any other fun plans for the rest of the week?

Laurie that is awesome that the guy bought you the drink. I would love to hear you sing sometime. We got to hear Sara (May) sing at HOB last year so I think we need to hear you sing next year!! ;)

I ended up not going in to work today. As always things are really tight at work and we spent a bunch of money LAST Friday on bills and needed some more checks to come in before I could pay today's bills and they hadn't come in yet so there was really no point in me going in. I had all those extra taxes to pay last week (payroll and quarterlies etc). So mom said to just wait till wed and I could come in before we went to the movie but now one of her client's changed her plans so now it looks like we are going tomorrow instead. So I am pretty excited about that.

I hadn't really planned on seeing it in 3D but for it to work out timewise that is the one we are going to have to see so hopefully it is good!

We are going to go have lunch at mimi's first which is YUM and then go to this new theater that is really nice and see Rio and then the girls have swim again tomorrow night. So it hopefully should be a fun day!!

Today was nice because we were all home and we just kind of kicked back and relaxed. It was so nice not to have to do anything or be anywhere although Shelby had piano so Shane did take her there and then of course they have swim tonight. I wish we truly had a "break" from everything and didn't have to go anywhere but such is our busy lifestyles LOL. There's always something going on.

I called this morning and made all our dinning ressies for our June trip so I am getting really excited and anxious about that!! On one hand I am glad that it is right after school cuz it kind of gives the girls a countdown but on the other I keep hearing about other people's trips and I am so anxious to go. But all good things come to those who wait I suppose LOL.

Anywho I am off to try and rustle up some grub for dinner. Have a good evening everyone!

Quick Hi & Bye from me .

The last couple weeks have a little been stressful and I'm looking forward to some down time (which I have no idea when will happen).

I haven't had a chance to read back, but I hope everyone's lives are wonderful :).

You will look hot Wendy! But I do feel your pain, I was a bridesmaid at my sisters wedding and had to stand in between 2 girls who hardly weigh 100 pounds soaking wet.

The only way I would get paid to sing would be them giving me $$ to STOP singing
Me too!!

and the Davis moo-nlight half in July. I also entered the lottery for the Nike 1/2 in San Francisco in October...never thought I'd enter a lottery to pay money to run.

I am also doing the Davis-Moonlight and am in the lotto for the Nike Women's. Next month I am running the Lodi half through wine country and in June I may do the SD half (I figured out after Santa Cruz a few weeks ago that I am not ready for a full yet.) My goal is to run the CIM in December instead. We must meet up before the Davis race though...considering we only live about 10 minutues from each other and have yet met! :cutie:

Woogio!! Go, Laurie!!

Yay on the flower and butterfly piece winning. That's cool. I can't wait to see your peacock one! You've gotta post some pics. :thumbsup2 That would be really neat if some of your tatts end up in the magazine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya. What made you decide to start getting tattoos? Just curious. I think they are neat!
Oh, and congrats on the black jack win too.

Week 2 I was busy with work and spening time with my Uncle. He is going thru chemo and radiation at the same time. He is getting tired he showed me how to feed him thru his tube-he still has four more weeks left.
Hey Monica. Sorry to hear about your uncle. That's nice you are able to spend time with him and help him out.
Enjoy your Spring Break time and your DL trip on Wed. That's a shame your daughter's friend's mom changed her mind. Poor girl. I bet she was really bummed.

The only way I would get paid to sing would be them giving me $$ to STOP singing
:lmao: Ditto!!

Are you kidding?? Do I have to come smack you?? No wait. You'd just want more if I did that. lol
Seriously, you know better than to talk like that. We all think you are beautiful. And you know I think you are hot! Hey, how you doin'?? :smokin: ;)

Running?? Not for me! Unless I'm running in DL or WDW :)
I won't even run then...... :rolleyes1

"skinny crack ho" :rotfl2:
I agree. I actually think Kirstie Alley is really pretty. And Wynonna Judd too. I like their fun personalities, AND think they present themselves well, and are really good looking. Maybe they aren't rail thin, but doesn't mean they can't look nice. ::yes::

Let's see.......nope:confused:
Alright.....who do we need to beat over the head for this not being fixed yet.....

They are still here until Wednesday. And bonus! We are going out again tonight...........and this time it will be all night. :cool1:
Enjoy your movie and Mimi's!

The last couple weeks have a little been stressful and I'm looking forward to some down time (which I have no idea when will happen).
Hey Katie. No more stress for you!! I forbid it. You've had way more than your fair share. :( Hope things settle down for you real soon.

Yes, you can add the dining plan, no problem at all.

PS The place that I have found the absolute best information about using my World Mark ownership is at www.worldmarkowners.com
It is ran by owners that just share and help each other out with information on how to make the most of the ownership. There is a ton of information about exchanging into DVC. A really great sight.

Congratulations on your additional points. I really love the flexibility of Worldmark. But I really want a little tiny DVC membership:thumbsup2

Thanks, Tracey! Laramie bought it almost 10 years ago.
His ex kept it until about 5 years ago.
I keep trying to talk him into DVC, but sadly he now tells me we can exchange for DVC....jerk...lol
But I guess I can deal with that!
I'm going to check out that website!

.

Are you not on my facebook? I have them all posted there. Here they are:

There is one more session, on the 28th and then I will be finished with this one.
clippership.jpg

This is my mini clipper ship we entered in the contest.

I started getting them because you know the band Good Charlotte who wrote the song "Little Things"? I went to a concert of theirs years and years ago and had the opportunity to meet them and spend time with them. Benji told me how he loved girls with tattoos and since I was besotted I had the swallow from their album tattooed on my back. That led to a love of traditional style tattoos. I have around 20 tattoos and am planning many more.

The only way I would get paid to sing would be them giving me $$ to STOP singing

Add me to this group! Sadly.:guilty:
I'll never forget the first time someone asked me what I did with the money....

Wendy, you are such a pretty girl. There will be none of this negative talk.

Today was super busy at work. I am glad I am home resting. Watching DWTS. Americana Week doesn't seem to mesh well with ballroom dancing. Everyone had been "meh" so far.

Deb, trust Laramie. I have three Disney timeshares and one Westin and it's too many! I have a hard time using up the points each year and now the maintenance fees are pretty costly. But I still profess to be a vacation queen. princess:

Yes I do like to stamp. I was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator like Lisa for 10 years and finally gave it up October of last year. Financially it became a decision of keeping that up or being able to go to Disneyland and since I hadn't held any parties for quite some time and most of the stuff I was ordering I wasn't even using it was time to let it go. All my stuff is just piled high on my desk... Eventually I hope to be able to do more again. I figure I have enough stamps and supplies to last quite some time without having to place an order.

I have no idea what you are talking about..... :rolleyes1 And what are these "parties" or "customers" of which you speak? :rotfl2:

I want to go to Alaska too! Let's win the lotto, okay? Then we can both go. :thumbsup2

My DH is chomping at the bit to go on a cruise. I told him for my 50th bday (gulp) that I wanted to either do a Disney Cruise or a MINIMUM of 3 nights at the Grand Californian. He didn't even blink and said "CRUISE". Doesn't hurt that it will also be our 20th wedding anniversary that year. :cool1:

I looked at pricing and what not for the 2012 cruise. It actually sails right around our anniversary. I'm shooting for a cabin with a veranda..... Hey, he's got a whole year before we have to buy the tickets to save.... LOL
