Angie and I are all set to go to the PNW MouseMeet in June. Tickets are on sale now through the website for a really good price - $24.99. We're booked at the Embassy Suites for Friday and Saturday :yay: Is anyone else still going to this event?? I haven't seen much posting about it but I'm hoping to see a good group of Divas there :thumbsup2 We should wear matching t-shirts

Mel, have a great time at Disneyland. Too bad you'll be there just before we go :upsidedow It's been over a year since I was there, so I'm missing the Mouse right now. Gotta go and get my pixie dust fix :woohoo:

Theresa~ Do you an Angie want a roomie (see how I invite myself lol :rotfl2: )

WendyLouWhoo....The gas prices there were crazy!! I thought when I left to the airport that paying $3.65 was bad, but when we put gas in the rental it was $4.19 a gallon. Really??? That is just crazy!

We had a great time at Disneyland last week. But it was crazy busy! I swear we are never going during spring break again. There were a few bumps, like the racist CM and the lead CM at the gate. By the end of the week we had all had enough of each other! :rotfl:

Seaworld was a lot of fun! It was Brooke's first time playing in the grass, the food was pretty good, but we should have spent two days there. There is so much to see & the shows, I felt like we were so busy!

I took my GS troop to Sea World 2 weeks ago for a sleepover and we had a blast! There was a whole bunch of stuff closed for refurbishment though, kinda a bummer. Did you do the dolphin feeding? It was the best $7 we ever spent!

Deb: your signature reminded me of how much I am missing Dawn today . . . .

I volunteer. I've done it for 10 years now and it's very rewarding. I have 4 kids and was on bedrest with all 4. With my son I was hospitalized (and completely bedridden) for 2 1/2 months. I swear I would have lost it if it wasn't for my "bedrest buddy".

I was on bed rest for four months with my second and it was truly horrible! Especially because we had just moved from Washington to Phoenix, and I had no friends there, no idea where anything was, couldn't get to know the community at all, couldn't go anywhere, do anything, etc. No visitors came to the hospital when I finally had him....no baby shower....no flowers....no congrats from anyone. Are ya tearing up yet? Haha. ;) :goodvibes

Awwwww, I'm sorry Cheryl. Feel better HUGS for you!

Happy Saturday everyone!

We spent the morning cleaning and packing and now I am sneezing like crazy! Hubby is going out with a bunch of his friends tonight and I am going to have a chick flick movie marathon. Now I just need to decide which movies to rent! I may also work on my trip report from last December.... It's been a LONG work in progress... of course I think I am just writing it for myself at this point...

I hope you all are having a productive or restful weekend (whichever you were trying to have!)

Thanks Mel, something tells me you'll be running circles around me at DL regardless of age..I'd love to meet up with you and your crew when you come to DL and in my spare time I do bedrest support for pregnant ladies on bedrest, often mommies of multiples. If it comes to it, have your DIL check out sidelines.org they helped me get through a few rough pregnancies..
Andrea, What a great support for those women. :grouphug: I've often wondered how some women do it. I will be sure to let her know, if it comes to that. Which I'm sure it will.
Did you have multiples too?

Capri, You poor thing! How sad to be all alone during that time. :sad2: I'm giving you a big hug now!

Ok ladies we are going to WDW in 2013 for Brooke's 3rd birthday.
Where would you stay? Kidani, Saratoga Springs, AKV, VWL, or BCV?
I really want to stay at Kidani, but also BCV.

Paula, Do you perchance like to stamp?

Just asking cuz Lisa/LisaCat is a big stamper here. At the moment she is quite involved in some kind of stamping get together or convention.:thumbsup2

Deb: I don't remember when Brooke's birthday is--what month?

Once I know that I will be able to give you better advice, but would suggest either VWL (for access to Magic Kindgom) or BCV (for access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios) -- the other two you will have to take busses for all four parks.

Now personally, I own at Saratoga and LOVE it--more of a condo-style feel than a hotel feel, and walking distance to DTD.

Sept 23.
I just can't decide where to stay. I can book/exchange 13 months in advance.

:wave2: I've been quiet lately, but still here. Watching some Playoff hockey right now, lol. The only obsession that tops my love for Disney.

I just spent an hour and a half at The Container Store. I swear--I have avoided that store like the plague because I knew it would be like crack--and I was right. I went in to get one jar to make preserved lemons and walked out with three large bags of stuff!
Cheryl, what's The Container Store? Jars and plastic storage items?

That's awesome, Andrea. Good for you! What a great idea. I am sure all those moms cherish your help and company.

Hi Deb!
Racist CM?? What happened there?

I'm glad to hear you liked Sea World. We'll be spending 3 days there the first week of May. It feels like forever since I've been there and I am looking forward to it. Any suggestions or recommendations of where to eat?

What's the dolphin feeding? Is that the big area with the dolphins where you can buy fish to feed them? If so, is it seriously $7 now???? Shoot, I remember when we used to go waaaaayy back when Ruben and I were dating, you could get a little plate of fish for one dollar. lol

Under The Tuscan Sun! It's one of my absolute favorite chick flicks. :thumbsup2

No suggestions for ya, but I just wanted to say.........so are we!!!!!!!!!!! :yay: We're going in Feb. of 2013. I am really excited! Too bad it's almost 700 days away. :rotfl2:
What a fun trip that will be for you and your family.

:wave2: I've been quiet lately, but still here. Watching some Playoff hockey right now, lol. The only obsession that tops my love for Disney.
Hey Jess! No sports in this house. Much to my delight. lol Enjoy your hockey. :)

Awwww. I would have been there everyday until you were sick of me! That's just not right.

By the way, good to see you, stranger!! Thought I was going to have to send out the search party to find you. ;) Hope all is well with you and the family.

Any of you who are AP holders should enter the AP preview sweepstakes for Star Tours. They're end of May-beginning of June. You can take up to 5 AP holders with you. Supposedly the only people who can attend are AP holders. Wouldn't it be fun to have a group (or more than 1 group) win?? Good luck everyone!!!

Thanks for the tip! I just entered. My time slot choices were Tuesday 5/25 the 4-8 PM, both slots on the 26th and both on the 1st of June. I put a party of 4. Hopefully, if I win, I can find someone to go with me..... :cool1:
