Lactose intolerant!! Boo!! My sister sure did enjoy it though. She'd hoard so much candy it was ridiculous.

Oh bummer! I don't eat much chocolate plain, but I do like chocolate flavored cookies, ice cream or things like that.

Not one total just one any time now Rowan wants to have hers early and we have been trying to get her to hold off until the weather gets better...by the end of summer we will have a total of 5 in the family, 2 from my horses, 2 from my mothers horses and 1 from my sisters horse LOL

I would be in on an Easter exchange...gotta do my first someday right..I could send someone something uniquely Montana in their basket like Buffalo jerky or something.

I love going to DL in October. Not only is it my birthday month, but I love the Halloween decorations. You're all surprised to hear that, I know.

Currently looks like we will arrive at DL the 5th of October and leave the 11th then it is off to Arizona to get ready for my daughter's Halloween Nightmare Before Christmas inspired wedding LOL gotta love her really The wedding cake with the purple & black ribbons is going to be really lovely.

Jen was actually talking about doing a Easter Basket exchange while we were at Napa Rose. Maybe another exchange is in order .

She mentioned it to me too, I told her I'd be in for it.

So I'm happy right now. I finally remembered to reserve a room for Labor Day/Half Marathon weekend. I kept putting it off. I'm going with HOJOs again. Now I just have to find the friends to go with me.

Sarah and Jen are running it to. We had a little mini meet the day before the race with a few others who ran. I think there is a thread just for the race.

I lived in Simi most of my life Went to Crestview Elementry, Hillside Jr High and Royal High School..graduated in 1985. Spent part of my High School years in Ventura as well but came back to graduate in Simi.

I graduated from Royal in 73. Yea for the Highlanders !

This thread is moving WAY. TOO. FAST!! I love all the pictures from the trip, I'll be there April 8-11, doing MouseAdventure on the 10th with Vicki and Heather. Who else is doing it? We're eating at Surf's Up before starting MA, gotta get some good nutrition before starving ourselves all day long!

Maybe I will see you ladies, I will be there April 2-9.
We are doing Surf's Up on Saturday morning.

I am. We moved here in summer of '07. Jane/cheshiregirl is here in Vegas as well. What part of Vegas do you live in?

We used to travel to CA a lot when we first moved here. (we had annual passes to Disneyland for awhile) SoCal is where I grew up and my husband's family is there still. But we don't go there much anymore. Our minivan is older than dirt and unfortunately it can't make the trek across the desert anymore.

I know there were some others who expressed interest in volunteering, and I wish we could have all of you on the committee, but with any more than 5 or 6 people it ends up being a bit too confusing. However, there are going to be many opportunities to help out with other aspects of the trip so don't worry if you are wanting to get involved, you'll get your chance.

Yep, we are flying on April 2, Seaworld April 3 and DL April 4-8, and leave on Saturday the 9th. My cousin and her family are coming with us. Her son is 3 but could pass for a 5 year old.
I am pretty excited. We are staying in the timeshare again. Except its just me & the kids, Laramie isn't going. Someone has to stay home to make the money, right?
I am hoping to be able to go in October. You know how I love Halloween. And then maybe, just maybe a wknd in December. So I have started my Halloween & Christmas fund trips. But it all depends on football. My life reloves around sports.

That sounds fun! I am hoping to hit Sea World when we go to San Diego in May. I haven't been in probably 7 years or so. You'll have to let me know how it is.

I'd love to go to DL in October too. I think you, me and Trudi are the real big Halloween fans in the group. Christmas is pretty too though. With all those trips you will need to start a piggy bank or something! Don't forget to get Brooke's first pair of Minnie ears. I still have Adam's first pair. He was 6 months old. They are so little.....

Yay! I get excited when any new planning is confirmed. It means we're one step closer until the next trip (yes, I don't have much of a life ).

So I have started my Halloween & Christmas fund trips. But it all depends on football. My life reloves around sports.

I know how you feel. I NEVER make any plans from June through December because of football. I sure miss our fall trips to WDW . But on the plus side, I've learned to love football .
