As for me...I am starting to get caught up at work. Kids have the stomach bug. Trying to go through all the stuff in my house and purge. Back on Weight Watchers since I gained 25 lbs since christmas.

Hi Everyone! I missed checking in yesterday but I was exhausted from work! Who woulda thunk it??

Anyways... Great news! My vacation time was approved for next February so I am officially available to come.. now just need to save the $$!!

We had an amazing time at Bon Jovi tonight! He played for almost 3 hours so the kids were tired but they loved it! The best part was that I bought the tickets for $20, they were "behind" the stage but we had great views since the stage was round. We also spent the day up near Whistler mountain at the BC Mining Museum. The kids were excited to wear hard hats and ride into a mine shaft.

Angie that is so cool!! Sounds like a great time and Kiera is so cute!! Are your kids loving going to concerts?? We have taken the girls to see Nickelback and they had a BLAST! Glad you had fun!

We are STILL having our rain here but they say today is the last of it thank goodness. Starting tomorrow we are supposed to be getting sun FINNALLY and it is forecast sun all next week! YAY! Not WARM sun but sun! I'll take it!!

Last night we had Shelby's spring piano recital and she did good although she got really nervous and had a couple little baubles but otherwise it was good but there were some other kids WOW! There was a 6 year old girl that did the song we're all in this together from HS musical. WHOA! It was amazing. And she did TWO songs! Then there was a 9 year old boy that did a classical piece that gave me goosebumps! And another boy did a jazz piece that was really awesome and the last boy was a teenager but did Faithfully by Journey and WOW!! It was a really nice evening I just wish my parents hadn't missed it

Anyway today the girls and I are excited because we have 100 worth of gift certificate to our fav store the children's place so that is always fun when you have free money to spend!! Otherwise that is about it for our weekend. Mom and dad don't get back till Monday night so pretty just going to be hanging close to home.

By the way I DID hear about the cruise ship incident and when I called mom asked her if she had heard anything since they are in Puerto Vallarta but she said no. I hope that person is found and is ok!!

Oh and also Trudi LOVE the pic of you all and Albort! That is so awesome that you guys hooked up and LOL on the Mickey head!! Everytime I go to the park I wonder if I am seeing him when I buy a popcorn or coke or if he is one of the parade people LOL.

I liked HOB also. A small group of us went there on the ladies trip last year and did the gospel brunch and it was really yummy and fun too! Heck we go to see our own "diva idol" Sara sing! That was worth it right there!!

And speaking of Sara girl you can get that weight off! The holidays suck and that is why I NEVER start a diet before or during the holidays (not that that is what you did but you know what I mean) so don't even stress about it. You will get that right back off in no time. You have done AMAZING!!

You lucky bunch! I watched the same Bon Jovi tour on EPIX last night but as you know that is not the same experience (although we did just hook up the surround sound).

Just a drive by visit.. busy weekend with Colton home for 3 days....still no baby thus far. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

I am so tired of the rain too! It's been over a week! Crazy... so not used to this weather! Especially in March!

I am very happy I got the time approved! I had heard someone else discussing taking that time off so I guess I just got it requested first! I'll be saving pennies for the Diva trip right after I save pennies for my birthday trip and my Halloween trip... lots to look forward to!

I am SOOOO tired! I don't remember if I posted it or not but I ended up picking up 2 extra shifts this week... So i worked Monday, Tuesday, off Wednesday, and then picked up Thursday & Friday and then was scheduled Saturday - Tuesday (normally my weekend on is only 3 days in a row, but they moved one of my regular days to Tuesday) ... It makes it 6 night shifts in a row... Staffing was silly enough to call and ask if I could come in early yesterday... um no... still sleeping lol. The good thing is I will then have 5 days off in a row... (I should have planned a trip to DL when I saw the schedule lol!)

Cheryl, our Superior Market opened and I'm loving the produce prices ! The bakery cakes are so bright and colorful. I'm going to try a tres leches one next time I go. They even play good music, mostly oldies and nice and loud. Pretty fun way to shop !

Morning all.

Man everyone must be having a great weekend! I will admit I am super jealous because since dh has been off work so much we haven't been able to do hardly ANYTHING and we can't even go out and do free stuff like go to the park or take a walk because of the stupid weather It is getting REALLY old. I am SO ready for at least better weather so we can get out of the house!!! In the back of my mind I keep thinking that I "had" a trip coming up and I was SO excited and I know I need to get over it and I know I made the right decision but I can't help but be bummed because I was SO looking forward to it! Esp going to the beach and seeing my friends and family! Oh well.

Anyway we tried to go spend our certificates yesterday but it turns out it wasn't that great of a deal after all. It is a LONG story but they weren't reg gift certs but these things where if you spent x amount you got so much off and I had 6 of them and the way I understood it was I only had to spend 40 bucks and then I got the rest of the money. I had 6 20 certs. But it was VERY deceptive and it turns out you had to spend 40 for EACH cert and do separate transactions and on and on so I didn't even buy ANYTHING. I was so mad because when I got them orig I had spent like 150 bucks to GET the certificates so I wasn't going to spend any MORE. So then the girls and I thought we would rent a couple videos to cheer ourselves up and NOTHING was in. I should have known because most stuff goes out on Thurs or Fridays and is not back by Sat but I was hoping there would be SOMETHING but alas we came home empty handed.

As of now we have Netflix but we are going to have to get rid of that too because our stupid interent is putting a cap on usage and basically you can only download 10 movies a MONTH. We sometimes watch that many in a weekend!! So I am pretty bummed about that too because we downgraded our cable to just the network stations to save money and now we are going to have to get rid of netflix and I am just so disgusted. It is like they are making it so you can't do ANYTHING! What's the point of having the 7 dollar netflix if you can't watch it cuz the internet company is going to CHARGE you for using it!! GRRRRR

Anyway off my soapbox. Not much else going on. Just glad mom and dad will be back tomorrow night. And it is back to the same ole same ole next week. Nothing exciting going on for another week or 2

Ha-Ha! That sounds like a warning my hubby would give! He tells people something is "NASTY" when it is really good so they won't eat it and he can have more!

Has been a busy weekend my daughter turned 18 yesterday and today we went prom dress shopping. She is out with cousin for birthday dinner I am going to make dinner for me and son and then try to catch up on the board.
