I think Paradise Garden area would be great for Thursday lunch meeting. But I am all over trying some fun drinks at Trader Sam's!

So know that you know the M&G theme, we hope you have guessing the SH theme. As we said, we are/will be posting little clues - hopefully they won't detour you too much!

Hi!! I am posting this from my iPhone as my laptop is in the shop. I wanted to post before I forget though.

I would love a purple castle shirt!!

I definitely need a roommate(s). I don't think even with roommates I can afford the GCH unless there is a super deal going on though. I am pretty much open to staying anywhere though.

The hungry bear 2 weeks ago was packed! It took a good half hour to order n get my food. But I think that was one of the busiest days. Splash had 100min waits!! People were standing looking for tables. I hope it won't be like that in February.

Paulaaaaaa! We should be roomies and then carpool down ;) BTW, we still need to find some time to do lunch or something.

I don't think it will be. After all, things usually aren't that bad in February.
I'll add you to the purple castle list:
January
Kelly
Rosemarie
Daisy
Jane
Jen
Monica
Paula

There ya go! Problem solved. :rotfl:

Everything so far sounds great.

Just a few observations from my recent trip. Tangaroa Terrace had some great food (although I only tried it for brekfast) but I can tell you that they don't have very many indoor seats so depending on the weather it might be a problem if it is cold or raining to go to Trader Sam's. Most of their seating is outdoors. Just something to think about.

If the weather is ok it should be no problem.

Also Hungry bear had GREAT food and I am all for going there as well as trying the new places at PP. In fact I am going in Nov and I know a bunch of you are going in Oct so I am sure a bunch of us can try out some of those places and put in our two cents as to whether we think it is worth trying.

And another FYI I read on a report that the PFF is going away this fall and the theater is coming back. It said they are moving the princesses to the carnation gardens (over by the castle where we started our scavy hunt in 10) so perhaps we can go there but not sure if there is a big enough area for our group photo. Just to let you know.

I think that was all that I can remember but otherwise all sounds great! :)

What is going where the PFF is now?

Oh no! This means that more people may discover the secret bathroom! Or worse! They get rid of it! noooo....

LOL Jen, that's the first thing I said to Ruben when I heard that!

That could change of course. :upsidedow

Actually I'm glad they might bring the theater back.:thumbsup2 I will miss our traditional photo shot location, but hopefully if they move it elsewhere, they will make it pretty there too! princess:

Yes Beth..."The games have begun!" :cheer2:

Hee hee hee!:rolleyes1
I'm glad they are bringing the theater back too. About darn time! I loved watching the Animazement show that used to play there, as well as the Snow White show. It was wasted space when used for the PFF.
And I agree, they will make it look pretty no matter where it's moved to. I'm sure it will be fine. :)

Hey! How do you spell he he he?
I've edited my post 3 times, and am still befuddled.

So I've updated the front page to reflect some of the things we've talked about including t-shirt color changes, schedule ideas (they are just ideas by the way that are posted currently, everything is open to change), and today I added the Meet and Greet info! :yay:

Remember if anyone is ever away from the DIS for awhile, the front page holds all the current info so you can check there for anything new. The first post has an index so you can find what you need to know.

Here is what I posted about the M&G:

Our happy M&G party takes place at a hotel every year, but this year watch out!
Something sinister has happened since we've been away, and the once cheerful happy party room has become a spooky, haunted cavern, frozen in time.
Join us if you dare, but beware....you could wind up in another dimension! Muwahahaha!

Sniff sniff. I would have loved to see the Snow White show.

I believe I've spoken my piece on PFF period before, lol. The second of my official campaign buttons, that one will be.

You never saw it? Aww. It was cute. I personally preferred the Animazement show because it had a variety of characters.
But they do need something there. And if they had a new show that played several times daily, that would help a tiny bit with crowding because some people would be in the theater.

Nope, not that I can recall. And if it's Snow White related, I would have remembered if I had. I don't think I ever saw anything at that theater, period. I probably didn't even know that area existed until PFF was introduced.

Hehe, Disney impulse buy! I can't help if I stumble upon somthing on clearance: Heartless Evil Queen tote. Reminds me I also got an awesome new red Snow White shirt from the Disney Store the other day. Can't wait to wear it to DLR in September.

Something like that would be perfect for our Disney Villian exchange. :thumbsup2

Not that it has to be a tote bag (although it can be). Just something that has to do with a Disney villian....tote bag, jewelry, mug, blanket, plush, poster, scarf, desk set, stationary, backpack, purse, wallet, beach towel, umbrella, poncho, hat/cap....or any other Disney villian item(s) you think is cool and the total doesn't cost more than $25. You can make something or purchase something. It's all up to you!
:maleficen

I totally forgot all about the exhanges! Squeee! Wait, that isn't the appropriate exclamation when we're talking about a party of peril ;) That's gonna be fun to find stuff for.
