Distance from Int'l Gateway (Epcot) to Future World?

How long does it take to walk (at a leisurely pace) from Int'l Gateway at Epcot to Future World/Coral Reef Restaurant area? We have dining reservations at 5 pm and we're coming from the Dolphin Hotel (traveling on a water taxi to Int'l Gateway at Epcot). I'm trying to figure out if leaving the hotel an hour in advance gives us enough time. We're a multi-generational group with a 5 year old, and slow/leisure walkers, for the most part.

Google maps says it's an 11 minute walk.

It shouldn't take much more than 5 - 10 minutes, even at a pretty casual pace. In total, I believe it is a bit over half a mile, so even if walking at a very slow rate, it should take no more than 15 minutes at the worst.

Depending on how leisurely you walk it could be close. If you just miss the water taxi then you have a bit of a wait (though if it's still close by you could probably catch it at boardwalk, that isn't a bad walk at all). By the time you get into the park you'd probably make it in time, but it is a bit of a hike from IG to Seas IMO. We do a VERY leisurely stroll sometimes and it's taken us upwards of a half hour before (we are also very easily distracted at shop windows lol). But if you're actually at the dock an hour ahead you should be ok. And worst case one person is allowed to run ahead and check in while the rest catch up, as far as I understand/have done this myself at other restaurants

It will also depend how crowded it is. I’ve had times it takes 2-4 minutes just to get through a crowd at UK. If it were me, I would think 15 minutes then multiply by 2. Your hour should give you plenty of time. Enjoy!

Let me give you a tip for if it’s hot and sunny.

Take the center bridge and veer to your left. Enter the building behind Club Cool and just keep walking in air-conditioned comfort. Stay toward the left and exit where you see the Land in front of you. The Seas is on the right.

We would walk the complete distance. The boat can be very slow if you just miss one. It's a very short enjoyable walk to Epcot and then only 15-20 min. to Future World, just strolling.
