Dispicable Me - Height Restriction appliable for statics seats?

My little one loves the Minnions and would love to see this, but it has 40" height restriction.
My Mum said there are static seats for expectant Mums etc.
Would they let a little one sit in one of those seats or does the 40" height restriction still apply?

The bench stationary seats are in the front of the room with the massively huge screen 10 feet in front of you. I did this ride last week and I had to keep my eyes closed for most of it because the motion and close viewing and tilted up head were too hard on me. My son was in the front row closest to the entrance door and he got queasy. I think sitting in the back and center would be the optimal position.

But yes, she can sit there and you could sit in the row with her or behind her in the regular seats if you think she would be ok by herself.

Just FYI but anyone who doesn't meet the ride alone height requirement has to be supervised by someone who does meet the height requirement and is 14 years or older. supervised in this case means in the same row, even for stationary seating. The reason is if the kid freaks out and stands up and comes close enough to the motion seats behind them the team members have to stop the ride. (I worked at Minions when it first opened.)
