I am 5'8 and when I let the strap all the way out it hangs all the way down over my butt. So I think it would hang on you right around you waistline? Good luck with it.

Really? Wow. I'm only 5'3" and as you can see in the picture, it only hits me at my hips. Hm....

I am interested in the messenger bag too, BUT I can't tell if the strap would be long enough for me (I'm 5' 11"). When you let the strap clear out, how long does it get? Anyone know?

The pictures I posted have the strap let all the way out, and I'm 5'3". I know there are taller people who posted pictures as well.

I just ordered 3 - figured DH wouldn't use it, but got one for me, and 2 DS's- even the 12 year old said he'd use it for our upcoming trip!! I did get DH a Jack Skellington beanie, however- didn't want him to feel left out...

I just bought the small bag in lavendar with Minnie Mouse. She has a turquoise blue skirt on and so I chose turquoise monogram. I think it will be perfect. If it tears my DH will mend it. I also ordered a Tink night gown. I can't wait for more order to come in.

I ordered one as well (Pink with the Mickey head on it with our last name)- all because of this thread!!! LOL!!! The OP needs to be getting a % of all these sales.

I just read a great idea on another thread and thought I would share it over here: another poster suggested bringing a sharpie to have the characters sign the bag. I thought that this was a fantastic idea and will be doing this on my trip in May.

WooHoo;just bought 5 for our upcoming trip; Blue w/ mickey for DH, Blue w/ patriotic mickey for DS, Lavender w/ eeyore for MIL, Lavender w/ Ariel for DD, and Lavender w/ Tink sil. for ME! Can't wait to get 'em-and with the Spring25 code, they were just over $9 each-can't beat that. Word to other parents, we used our initials, it's unfortunately looked at as unsafe for kids to walk around w/ their names. (some incredibly sick people out there...) Back to the fun part-bought a little something extra and used the shipfor5 code too! Yeah!!!

I received mine, pink w/ Tink and my name on it. I was surprised how big it is. It's bigger than the normal bag I take with me in the parks but I think it will do. It's certainly cute and I'm glad I ordered on. It's hanging in my closet but I might start using it in the coming weeks just to get a better feel of it before our trip!

I am glad everyone like the idea I posted on another thread about bringing sharpie for characters to sign the bag. When we were in at WDW in 2006, my DH was carrying my DS's school backpack with all of our "stuff" when we were in Judge's Tent and came upon area to have picture taken with Mickey. My DD5 quickly gave Mickey her autograph book and quick thinking DH asked him to sign the shoulder strap which worked great so sign with sharpie since it is padded and therefore stiff. Over 2 years later, it is still there and my son still comments about it and so do others that see it. A reminder of WDW vacation that he carries everyday to school. I would suggest putting a piece of cardboard in the front pocket of bag to increase support and make signing easier. So glad I could share our creative idea with so many Dis board members.

It was only for one day, yesterday.

Ordered mine yesterday! Black bag, turquoise letter with the silhouette Mickey and our last name. We'll use it as our carry on and I our Baggallini bag arrived as our parks bag.

I just placed an order for my messenger bag. I'm excited to get it! We will be using it for carry on on the airplane as well as for carrying around the parks. Plus I ordered the greyish mickey luggage thats on clearance from 129.99 down to 49.99! I also ordered 6 shirts for me and 2 for DH.

me - navy with Mickey head flag with last name in red

Mine just came last night~ I was going to surprise the kids, but DD was at a sleepover and DS was feeling a little blue, so I let him open the box. He opended it and said "just suitcases?" then he turned it over and saw Mickey and his name, then he thought it was really neat

I really like them, I think they will be great for the kids on the airplane. I was wondering about figuring a way to close the top middle pocket, velcro and snaps were mentioned here. But I think I will go fill them with what they will be taking first and see. My main concern is their DS lite stuff, I don't want it just loose in the bag without a top closure.

We will use one of the bags for the parks too. It will hang perfectly on the back of the stroller! It won't hold our jackets, but it will be great for autograph books, tissues, sunscreen, etc.

It's getting close for us now, time to start packing (says my kiddos) I think they are right, and now with their new bags, I guess we should start!!!

I purchased a 14" zipper from Walmart and hand-stitched it in. It worked well, but be careful, the lining fabric is pretty fragile.
