I ordered a pink one with minnie and torquoise text...but than of course changed my mind and ordered another one. This time navy with minnie with red text. Oh well they are so inexpensive.

Disney store also has shirts you can personalize. You can pick your character and there are a lot to choose from. You can also add any sayings you want. They were only about $16 after the discounts. Got one for my DD too.

When I went to the site to order I can't see where I can change the color of the bag. Am I in the wrong section?

after you click on the bag there should be a drop down on the right that says Select Color.

Now only about 6 months until I get to actually USE my bag.

The bags are the Create Your Own Small Messenger bag.

It will show a picture of the bag on the left. (a pink one that says Ashlee)

To the right of the bag, it gives you some choices.

One is select color.
You click on the down arrow to select color and your choices are there.
They are down to having only 4 colors.
Blue
Lavender
Navy
Red


The next one is select your character.

The next one is add a name or phrase.

I see. It look slike you only have a bag color option for the small bag. The large messenger bag doesn't have that drop down color option.

Now I am wondering if the smaller one will be large enough to actually use in the parks? Or do I just go with the black bag? The smaller one seems to be larger enough. I would probably be carrying my Passporter Deluxe, autograph books and snack in it.

What does everyone think?

Make sure it is the small messenger bag. I think the large messenger bag only has black left, you can't change the bag color.

The small one is not very small. I can't even imagine how large the large one is. I could probably put my laptop in the small one.

I agree. I can't imagine how big the large one would be to carry. The "small" part of the name in the small messenger bag is kind of misleading. I'd say it's more of a medium sized bag.

Is your order total more than $50? The Pluto code only gives the discount at $50 or more. I don't remember what the codes were that I used. I know I used one for 20% off and the $5 shipping one. I was able to apply both, my order was over $50.

Just back from WDW - used my bag for our trip & loved it. But.......beware of the velcro like others have posted. My problem wasn't actually with the velcro on the first pocket - after reading some of the other posts, I'd added a couple of velcro buttons to that one. My problem was the velcro on the very back inside pocket. It wasn't even stitched properly and when the security guard at the bag check area decided he had to see in that pocket too - well, that was the end of that velcro................... Lucky for me I'd brought the rest of the velcro buttons with me as that was the pocket I'd put my wallet & reading glasses in & didn't want those falling out. All in all, it held everything that I needed it to without getting too heavy. Thanks to the original OP for the links and all the other posters for your information!!

Hi! I have 2 quick questions. Does anyone have both the large and small messenger bag? How much do they differ in size space-wise? Also, I am looking for a bag to hold both my camera (it is big- rebel xt) and my camcorder. Do you think the small bag is big enough to hold both of these items? I figured it would simplify carrying the 2 spearate camcorder and camera bags and combo them into one larger one. I have read through the posts and if some people are using them for carry-ons or purses,I figured they would be decent-sized. Thank you in advance for any help!

i ordered those personalized shirts Tuesday and they just arrived. Fast...and they are really cute!

Adding them to the Disney box for next year.
