Disney's YES program question

I'm considering buying park tickets through the YES individual registration. Does anyone know what method of verifying age do they use? I have to turn over my daughter's birth cert for a passport and won't have it back in time for our trip. I understand they are strict with the ages and don't know how they verify.

Our son attended a class. There was no age verification that we had to bring or show. My dh attended the class with him so I am not sure if the students were asked or grouped by ages once in the classroom.

Thanks!! Another question. When you purchased the tickets did you get something to use right away to enter into My Disney Experience to make FP+ reservations?

We haven't done a YES class since FP+ came along so I cannot answer that. For the ages though, we did not have to give anything to verify ages. Our group leader did ask each kid at the beginning how old they were but that was it.

We are doing Yes next month. I got a recipe via email immediately. I called to have my tickets released at 60 days. At 61 days I got a number emailed that I linked to my reservation. Fp+ worked fine. When we did it 2 years ago, they didn't ask about kids ages or any verification at the class.

There is no age verification.

Obviously, if you show up with a 6 year old for one of the 15-18 classes, they are going to tell you, that you're in the wrong group.

Maybe its my phone but I can't find a schedule of classes for individual enrollment. Can anyone tell me how you're finding that?
