Here now at BCV (two bedroom villa). Room is in great shape. Enjoying my coffee on a very large deck. Can't say I see any issues yet. Someone asked about resort mugs and colors. Don't know if the question was answered but there are four different colored lids. I would post a picture but can't seem to download from my camera right now. Spent arrival day trying to get resort Holiday pins and gingerbread house pins (there are four). Very disappointed that several were sold out but since these are limited editions you have to expect it.

Congrats on the offer! We may just have to take a ride over to the BC one Sunday or Monday to say Hi and wish you a great time with your girls. When the time comes, please post when you're planning on leaving the BC, so we can be sure not to miss you.

I have a question I hope someone can answer. Last year in june we stayed at the bc and the whole week they had a volley ball game going on in the pool with a rope across the pool is this something that is always there?

We are also checking in on the 20th. And my younger two kids aren't finding out until the 18th! (Waiting until their holiday break, so it does not become the focus at school). It is torturing me not to be able to talk openly about it! Enjoy the planning talks this week!

Yes. As long as there are enough people to play it's a "Have at it" kinda thing.

it's been 6 years since our last trip, and I'm surprised how little our oldest 2 remember (they're 16 and 13 now). The only must do is CRT which I have, and my 13YO says she's going on RNRC this time. I don't remember her chickening out last time, but she must have.

I have a question about our reservation... I hope I didn't make a mistake. We really want to try for a balcony as this is the main reason we used to stay at Yacht Club. I saw an area to request adjoining rooms on the reservation, but didn't see any area to make room requests. Is it too late now, or do I do that later in the check in process? A balcony is pretty much our only preferred request. Thank you! )

You will have to call resort reservations to add your request.

You can request a full balcony when you do online check-in at 60 days before your trip. However, if you want a CM to note your reservation with your request you would need to call in and tell them.

Just booked our flights for our trip in March.....feels really official now! I got an amazing deal for $2400 flying out of Detroit vs $5300 flying out of Toronto. Totally worth the 4 hr drive to save that much money. I think I'll be crying tears of joy on the Magical Express!

Hi BC and YC people! We are back from our first stay at this beautiful resort. We loved it for the most part and would stay there again. I have a ton of pictures from the resort and the Christmas decorations.

Good:
Location
Relaxed environment (I always feel it is so chaotic at some other resorts)
Customer Service
The pool
Beautiful room

Bad:
Bus Service (we could not catch a break with MK buses back to BC. At one point we waited 45 mins during the afternoon)
Overflow boat service (EVERYONE on the BW was going to DHS every night it seemed and the boat waits took a long time. If you can walk, I recommend it)
Lack of less expensive restaurants. I don't need a food court per se but a few choices would have been nice.
Joffrey's coffee (my husband said he makes better coffee on his humvee lol)

If you can walk, I recommend it).

I find the boats to HS crowded too but was told it is due to everyone wanting to se the Osbourne lights for the last time. The HS parking lot fills up before noon and they tell people to park at AK and Epcot and bus over. So that issue goes away after the lights come down but it's no fun right now. Being from Ohio I have to say that it's been a real pleasure running around in shorts and a tee-shirt and NO jacket. A little different from the past two years here. Spent time talking with Teena and catching up. Sorry we took so much of your time yesterday but DW and I really enjoyed it and will miss that in future trips here. Heading to MK today and HS Tuesday. I will try to report on crowd levels.
