Is there any new info on the refill mugs without handles. I haven't read much- are they just testing them at POR or have they moved to other resorts? AFAIK they have not appeared at the Yacht & Beach Club resort yet.


disny_luvr sent me these pictures of drink carriers she received as a Fish Extender gift on a cruise. These would work for the refill mugs with no handles. And it folds flat, too!

I have seen reports of them at Saratoga Springs and both currently at Pop Century

If you go to My Disney Experience- web page, and then My Reservations and Tickets, it's at the very bottom- Memory Maker, and it should be assigned to you, with a confirmation #.

On the app- go to My Reservations, then Memory Maker, click the arrow, and it should say Matched To : (Your Name) Purchased.

Based on personal experience, I suggest calling (407) 934-7000 for placing your YC room requests, and also, perhaps, your notation of special celebration added to your record. The CM at this contact number will gladly take your room requests, though I don't believe they can actually bring up your reservation in the system. I have had 100% success with my room requests using this phone number, which can be called no more than nine days before check-in. I believe the phone contact for the Poly is (407) 824-2000, though I've never personally tried it, myself.

Calling the published resort phone numbers, as above, gets you to an offsite call center, possibly not even in Florida. They answer as if they are the hotel, but they are not.
The best way to note a request is to call the main reservation number and have it added to your reservation.
 
does anyone have a copy of the recreation calendar from last year labor day? i am curious what they did then and i can't find it anywhere

The phone number is (407) 934-8000.

They will not even ask for your confirmation number, just your name, resort, and dates, I believe. I much prefer calling these numbers, instead of the reservation call center, as the CMs have always been exceptionally cordial, and I never feel like they are trying to rush me, as they are not under pressure to take new reservations or sell me other products - that's not what they do.

Since I have been calling in my room requests this way, my requests always show in my record when I check in at the resort, unlike other ways, which have not always been that reliable.

It does not concern me where the CM may be located; I do care, however, that they help with my requests. They always ask if there is anything else they can help out with, and sometimes, there is. If they can't immediately answer my question, they may place me on hold to get an answer for me. They have always been very accommodating (no pun intended:) ).

Hope this helps you; I can only reference my own experiences, using these numbers. Again, you can call in room requests no more than nine days prior to check-in date.
 
I am so excited-got a reservation to Victoria and Albert's for the day after our 25th anniversary! I had tried to get one after I (re)booked our trip but there was nothing available. I got an email from Touring Plans reservation finder today and was able to get the reservation. Now I just have to save up for dinner!
 
Everything looks great for my details on the Be Our Guest list now ☺️ Thanks so much for editing! I'm getting more excited by the day to try the Yacht Club, I really think I've made a good choice for our trip!

We are booked to stay at BCV in 1 bedroom Villa (direct with Disney) in September. Is it possible to get a full size crib or am I better off getting one from an off site company? We would like to request a quiet room, which view would be best for this? Do all villas have balcony's? I know some of the rooms at BC have those Juliette balcony's so not sure if BCV is the same. And lastly, at the villas, are you able to order room service? Thanks!

Historically, white metal cribs - nearly full size - were available in limited supply, first come first served. I have read they no longer are. At any rate if you need a full size crib it is safer to rent from an off site company.
We would like to request a quiet room, which view would be best for this? A Woods view would be quietest, but all Villas do hear the noise from Illuminations around 9 PM
Do all villas have balcony's? I know some of the rooms at BC have those Juliette balcony's so not sure if BCV is the same. Yes all Villas have good size balconies. Some are bigger than others, but all have 2 chairs and a table.
And lastly, at the villas, are you able to order room service? I never have, but I believe yes you can order Room Service
