We've never been to the water parks before because the kids were too young but next year we'll be giving them a try.

How does it work when you have a 5 day hopper? Are the two entries included in the 5 days or are they completely seperate?

Also which is the best park, Blizzard or Typhoon?

Not sure about the hopper question, but my favourite water park is Typhoon Lagoon - I love the slides and wave pool there. I find Blizzard Beach a very hot place because of the 'snow'. Just remember to arrive early to get a lounger and you can buy a refillable mug for something like $12 and have free refills all day. If you go back to that water park or the other one you can then buy a sticker to put on your existing mug for about $6 and have free refills again :)

Hi Xavier,

have a look at this recent thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=602820

My favourite is Typhoon Lagoon :)

As far as the Hopper question goes, I believe the 2 "extras" are totally separate. For example, you will get 5 whole days of park entrance (and you can park hop so can go to more than one park on the same day and only use up one "day"), and then 2 whole days of water parks / Disney Quest etc in addition.

This means that if you go to a park in the morning, you will use one day of your 5 day park allocation, and then if you go to a water park on the same day, you will also use a day from your "extra" days. So that would be one day + one extra.

I think you can buy Hopper passes that have no "extras" on at all, but as long as you have extras they are separate.

Thanks for the thread Miffy that was a good read. Kids will be 9 and 11 when we next go to Florida.

Kaylee.....I remember you recently went to the Universal Mediterranea and Costa Caribe like us. My kids loved all the slides in that park and the lazy river. Neither of them will do very steep or fast slides. They both love the "rapids" but don't think they'd like drops down waterfalls - just small drops in the raft. Based on that....can you say which park they would enjoy the most......Typhoon Lagoon seems to have 3 white water raft rides - but not sure if they can do them all. Blizzard Beach seems to have some great slides - but again..not sure how steep and if they would do them. How deep is the water that the slides go into? Have also had a look at Wet&Wild - would you say that was more like Costa Caribe out of the three water parks? Thanks in advance.:D

REmember you can't use your Disney ticket at Wet & wild.

My kids favourite is Blizzard Beach & the family raft ride there is much better. My fav is Typhoon Lagoon due to the Shark reef.

Which ever one you choose the kids I'm sure your kids will love it. Best bet is to visit both!!!!!!
