Is the rewards program worth it? Can't find much about about the program.
thanks dj

It can be. Like all rewards programs, it depends upon how much you'll actually use the card to make it worth the annual fee.

I just got one on my last trip. I was surprised they actually make the card in a few minutes there at WDW, I've never gotten an "instant" credit card before...and I got a $100 gift card (which seems to be similar to the $100 credit, if you apply by mail).

It is the only card I have that has an annual fee, so I'll see what the first year brings as far as "rewards." The interest rate isn't too awful, but as always, it is best to pay in full monthly.

For DVC, it may be of less value than a cash customer, as cash guests get 6 months no interest on Disney vacation package purchases.

It's not the greatest card out there. Just 1% redemption in rewards. Honestly, you'd do better to have a Discover card or something that pays back 2-3%.

Having said that, we have a Disney Rewards Visa card and use it regularly. Basically, it pays for our annual passes, which is nice. :)

Chuck...interesting, since we have a Disney Visa card and there is no annual fee at all. We use it and pay off the balance each month, and have never seen a fee. Maybe because we got one as soon as they offered it and are Cardholders "Since Day 1" (as it says on our card)?

If there is a fee, I'd pass. Way too many rewards cards out there with no fees.

Yes, 2% on restaurants, groceries and gas...and that is where most of my spending is.

And 2% on all Disney purchases, including DVC dues, cruises, etc.

I have the regular Disney Visa with the 1% which I use for everything but I do pay it off each month :yay: I just love getting those reward points to use at Disney World

I'll keep my Fidelity AMEX. 2% on everything, and no annual fee. Top rated by Money Magazine. ;)

The 2% goes into my daughter's 529 college savings plan. I love having money to cover her college expenses that doesn't come out of my checking account.

We have the no fee card and have almost $600 in rewards built up. We will use it to pay for our food on our December trip!

I got the card recently for the 200.00 bonus gift card, and the perks for vaca 0% for 6 months, and no annual fee....best card is the southwest card when they have 50k sign up bonus...

we simply use ours for the points every year at disney. other than that its a regular cc.

I was excited for a second until I realized that the 2% can ONLY go into a college savings account. No kids yet- I'll take my Disney $$.
