Too bad, the VB resort is so nice and relaxing- a great way to end your Disney trip. It would have been nice to have a larger property there so I could always be guaranteed a night or two without buying points there.

That's pretty much why they had to sell the land. Everybody likes staying there, but very few (in relative terms) actually bought points there.

Is this land adjacent to the Disney Resort? Perhaps my memory is failing, but I thought the land adjacent to the south was already developed?? I've walked that beach many times and never remember any vacant land... unless it's a very small piece.

Am I confused?

I though Disney already sold some VB land a couple of years ago - but I think it was on the other side of A1A.

I think VB is a whole bunch smaller - alot less than 1/4 - might even be 1/10 of what it should have been.

Sorry folks I know a bunch of you love it. I don't. I did own there - but I sold it that one year when DVC did away with the development share. I like the gulf side much, much better - the ocean side made me love the pool. but why go when you don't get in ocean....

I just got the info on the property today in the mail. They start at 1.2 million and go up to 2.5 million. Very nice. Each has its own private elevator. There will be 60 condos- 5 buildings of 12- 3 floors high plus the garage on the lowest level. In case anyone is inerested and has an extra 2 million lying around
