Re the international flight (to Canada) check-in, I'm not sure when you have a connecting flight through a domestic US hub like JFK. For direct flights to Canada, I couldn't use the Disney luggage & auto check-in service. I went to the front desk the day before departure & I asked the concierge for assistance in checking in for my flight & printing out my boarding pass. I then brought my luggage down to the magical express bus & at my appointed departure time it was loaded on the bus with me for the airport. I then had to check-in my own luggage at the airport. Hope this info helps!

Thank you! This is how it worked the last time we were there, but i thought i had read somewhere that they were now providing the luggage check in for international flights.

Last fall I could see some of the higher fireworks from my window & from the walkway in front of my 50s room, top flr, facing the lake. My view was of the AOA little mermaid rooms across the lake. I forgot all about the fireworks & LOL first thought some "person" with noisy spinner luggage was marching up and down the walkway in front of my room. It was great to just open the curtains and see some of the show from my room after a long day in the parks. Enjoy!

thank you for the response to my question! Its going to make grabbing food at Publix a lot easier!!

Anyone have pics of how a pack n play fits in the room? My cousin might tag along with her DD, but I'm wondering if we'd need to bump up to a mod....

I don't have a picture, but we stayed in a room with two double beds, and the pack and play fit by the door or you could put it by the bathroom and pull the curtain.

Does anybody know if they sell the h2o shampoo and conditioner in Everything Pop?

I don't believe so. Might I ask why? If you want to bring some home, just ask housekeeping. Our last trip our housekeeper sent us home with about 6 months worth. I was hoping for 2 or 3 bottles.

I don't like the shampoo/conditioner combo. I was hoping they sold the big bottles in the gift shop at Pop (I know they do at other resorts) so I could buy them there instead of bringing from home.

Gotcha. I didn't realize it was a combo at Pop. I wouldn't like that either.

I don't have a picture, but we were able to comfortably fit one in our room last year. We put it between the dresser and wall to the bathroom area. It was below the coat hooks. It also would fit in the room with the sink or under the window.

Anyone going to POP this week? I'll be there with DW from Tuesday-Thursday. Very excited! Two more shifts of work on Sunday and Monday!

We're headed down Tuesday evening - can anyone tell me if there are any large cheerleader groups there this week? We're just staying Tuesday night and coming home Wednesday (just need a dose of happy), but want to know if I should bring some earplugs or something!

When we were there a few weeks back, I contemplated buying some to take home. Yes, they do sell them in Everything Pop. They also had a grapefruit scent. I actually ordered online with the 25% coupon.

So, my first time at Pop is coming up for the 24 hr event, we just booked a 3 night mini trip tonight! We booked a preferred room, and not quite sure what to request. I think I'd really like to get in to the 50's section, the buildings look so cute, (60's as a second choice). So, where do I request to see fireworks(from epcot?), from our room? And, where would be a good place to request to be close to bus stop? Would one request cover both of the above wants(fireworks and close to bus), or would I need to choose? If there are standard and preferred rooms in the 50's, which would be a good building to request? Do the preferred rooms have the mini fridges in them? Sorry so many questions, don't know much about Pop, so any help is great! TIA!

Oh, and, just asking, lol, as we usually go in Dec, how hot and humid can we expect it to be at the end of May? I'm hoping not terribly hot, lol!

I think you would need to choose between close to bus stop (usually the preferred rooms and you are paying for the proximity to the food court, buses and sometimes the main pool) or for a chance at seeing some of the fireworks from your room, I had 50s section, water view, top floor. Not all of the rooms in the 50s look toward the water and you can't see fireworks from all of the rooms. Also, you may only see part of the fireworks. The higher ones. My room in the 50s bldg was a standard. I made those requests on my online check-in because I really hoped to get a quiet location. That was my priority. The fireworks were simply a lucky bonus for me. It might also help to call and have your preferences noted on your reservation and send a polite fax directly to Pop Century approx 3 to 4 days before your arrival. All of the rooms have a mini fridge. No coffee makers in the rooms at the values except for family suites. Two other considerations between a preferred room closer to the bus stop and the 50s section are 1) noise . . . sometimes the preferred rooms can be louder because you may be closer to the main walkways and the hippy-dippy pool. 50s section rooms facing the water are usually less noisy. 2) your walk from the bus at the end of the day . . . preferred rooms are supposed to be closer. Some rooms in 50s section (lake view with chance at fireworks) are a bit farther out. Mine was. But maybe only an extra 5 min fast walk. If it was me, I wouldn't make my choice based only on the lottery of seeing partial fireworks from my room. You can easily walk to the generation gap bridge and have a similar view no matter what room you get. I think its about priorities. What really matters to you. I've never been in May so not sure about the weather. Good luck!
