Hey guys!

If it all goes well, we'll be back at Pop next september for our son's first trip!

Any of you have a pictures of the pools' rules or a link to see those rules? We're wondering about the kind of diaper we should use when we'll swim with the baby!

Thanks in advance.

Gotcha. I didn't realize it was a combo at Pop. I wouldn't like that either.

The rooms have the combo, but they do sell the separate H2O products in many of the gift shops. I was going through my pictures to see if I could remember which ones in particular I have pictures of, but I can't find it right now. (My 2014 trip, I had over 8000 pictures, so it can take a while to find what I'm looking for!) I do know they sell it though, I just can't find my picture. I like the green shampoo and the conditioner that smells the same, so I look for that in particular.

Oh wait, I found one where they have H2O products at AoA. So if it's at AoA, it's likely at Pop too. :)

Can anyone tell me about the current bounce back offer at Pop? We're 52 days out from our trip and wondered if the current bounce back will be a good one. Thanks!

I don't have a picture, but regular swim diapers are required at the pools.

Congratulations!

Your online check-in is complete. Your reservation has Streamlined Check-in, just show your ID at the designated location in the resort lobby. Look for the logo. If your room is not ready upon your arrival, we will send you a notification to xxxxxxxxxx as soon as your room is ready.

does this mean I still have to go to the front desk?

I called in and requested to be close to the Hippy Dippy pool and then checked in online. adding no requests.

Yes you still have to go to the counter. There are 2 seperate lines, 1 for reg check in and one for online check in. Online check in just means they will have everything ready for you to check in, ie room number and package.

actually we did not have to go to the counter at all. We got a text with our room number (which I called in and got changed) got a new text and we went from our car right to our room.

unfortunately people do not use them. last week several children were in the kiddie pool in regular diapers (with no swimsuit over) also the pool was closed at least 4 times during the week. and that was just the times we know about (as in we were sitting poolside).

We're headed down Tuesday evening - can anyone tell me if there are any large cheerleader groups there this week? We're just staying Tuesday night and coming home Wednesday (just need a dose of happy), but want to know if I should bring some earplugs or something!
there were tons of other teams last week - lacrosse, high school bands, etc I didn't see too many cheerleaders (and we had one of those!! :) )

It is so frustrating that people do not follow the rules. We always had DD in a swim diaper, like we were supposed to, for both the kiddie pool and the big pools.

honestly I don't think the swim diapers do much of helping either. I know the regular diapers pill up and fall apart.

That's good then. That's the exact message I always get but still have to go to the counter. I also live in Canada so I don't get the option for the text.

Hello! I have an upcoming trip for sept/oct and was booked at Sports until I realized It was only slightly more to stay at POP with all the extra benefits. Own bus system, walking to AoA, etc... We have a preferred room and I have been to the resort before but it's been a while.. ( 15 years ago ) So can anyone tell me where thats at? Do you get a choice of where you want to be? I went last spring and I remember them asking before hand what request you would like. Like what floor ( we stayed at AoA ), etc...Do they do this for POP to?

The online check-in for the POP does give you a chance to note your preferences. You could also call Disney and have your room preferences added to your reservation. A fax directly to the POP 3 or 4 days before your arrival may also assist. Of course, no guarantee of receiving your requests. Best wishes.

Go to the bottom of post #2 of this thread for information and a link to a map showing the Preferred locations.

curious - if anyone was there last week in the preferred rooms....there was a lot of pressure washing going on - professional so it was LOUD. Did they give you notice in your rooms or anything? We were poolside when it was going on and it started EARLY am, I would have been very upset if I had one of those rooms. It was daily the week we were there.

A coworker of mine was there and said there was no notice given at check in nor in the room. He said they were getting ready or already on their way out to the parks when it started so it didn't bother them.

I'm sure they were banking on most people being at the parks, but we had 2 resort days where we hung out by the pool. They also took away all the tables with umbrellas on the side that they were cleaning, so there was limited places to actually sit.
