I've always used this diagram. The little squares with the diagonal lines show the connecting doors. We've had connecting rooms (requested) on 3 trips and they were always in the areas listed on this map. I don't know if anything has changed since the refurbishment, but I don't think it has.

56 & 57 in building 3 are connecting too. I know because I just stayed there. I don’t see the connecting line on the diagram. They may have added it with the refurb.

Connecting rooms were not added or removed during the refurb.

Please see circled area on the diagram that tells which rooms are connecting.

oh my gosh, I have that same map and was looking it over today to see if it designated connecting rooms. I never noticed those diagonal lines! thanks!

Some were actually. The accessible room (#3352) we stayed in May 2019 was formerly a connecting room to #3353. It is no longer one. The wheelchair accessible tub/shower Queen/Queen rooms no longer have the wall space for a connecting door. The accessible king rooms however still have connecting doors, at least in some cases.

We are staying at Pop in March. We haven’t stayed at Pop since September 2014, I think. Has there been refurbishments since that time on rooms or the property? Anyone have recent pics of the standard pool view rooms? Really wanting to see what everything looks like now! Thanks!

yup we have a tp subscription and are using the room request service they offer. The room we're requesting isn't a connecting room, but I just was wondering which were the connecting rooms in case we were not given our request. It's not a bg deal; I'm more curious than anything.

Just be aware that the room finder tool on TP website is extremely inaccurate when it comes to room types, amenities, connecting or not, etc.

We just booked Pop for free dining August 29 through September 4th! I’m so excited

This is our exact POP dates now, too. Originally we were booked Aug. 28th through the 4th, but when the dining required a check in of the 29th, we adjusted a bit. We actually decided to arrive on the 28th and stay at AoA, and then on the 29th, we'll just walk over the bridge with our stuff to POP. :) (We're purposely light packers, so this will be no biggie for us. ) We did pay a bit more for the one night at AoA than our Pop nights, but in the end we're saving at least a thousand bucks on food expenses, so I'm okay with how it worked out for sure!

Was planning to choose room a little closer to our trip but yesterday which switched our travel dates (6/27-7/7) for FD and the TA suggested a pool view room. I'm not sure if thats what we want and I'm wondering if I could make a change today depending on availability. We have 2 kids ages 9 and 4 and last trip in 2017 we got Building 3, 3rd floor with a view of the lake. I loved the view but honestly we didn't spend as much time appreciating the view as we did walking to/from parking, pool and classic hall. This time, I'd place a higher priority on location. All other things being equal I think I would choose 1st floor, but I hear so much about noise level and since we intend to take midday naps and need to get kids to sleep at night, that is a factor. We are planning to drive most of the time so parking lot convenience is high priority but our last stay, a large portion of the 50's Upper section parking was closed off. Hoping to walk over to AOA a few times to eat also. What rooms/sections might you recommend if we keep the pool view? What areas would you recommend if switching to standard is an option?

Is there a resort fee when you stay at POP? Also what is the parking fee per day? Thanks!
Like others said, no resort fee but the tax rate for the rooms are 12.5%. Not a big deal, but it can catch people off guard the first time they see it. 😉

All of the rooms have been refurbished since then. You can probably google to find updated pics. I’m really excited to see the changes.

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, I only went back about 20 pages to catch up on this thread, but how early does the Skyliner start for EMH mornings? I’m less concerned about EPCOT, but trying to figure out if we would be better of taking a bus to Hollywood Studios when we try getting a boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance? Our trips not until July so obviously things can change, it just trying to get an idea of what works best, at least for now.

At this point it doesn't start running early enough, so the advice has been get to the bus stop early, or get an uber/lyft. Keep watching both the situation with the Skyliner hours and with RotR procedures.

When we were there in November it started 1/2 hr before Park Open. We had magic hours at 8 am and boarded the Skyliner just after 7:30 am.
