Question of the day: If we are taking ME to the airport, and we check them in at POP, we then don't have to deal with the checked ones any more, is that right? We can also put our carry ons in the storage area at bell services, yes?

Yes, just make sure you use the airline checkin counter for the luggage (its not the same as the bell services desk); you'll need what you need at the airport (tickets/ID). Also, when leaving your carryon's at bell services make sure you get back to the hotel in time for them to retrieve them for you before your ME is scheduled to get there.

I wonder how many weeks the Hippy Dippy pool will be closed if it's set to close in mid-January? Our trip is the first week of March which is right before spring break season kicks off. If it's still closed during our trip we might have to consider doing a water park day if the computer pool and bowling pin pool end up too crowded because of the main pool being closed. We have zero interest in switching resorts, primarily because of the cost since we need two rooms and we are booked under play, stay, dine promo.

Just back from our trip and it was awesome! I received the exact room that I requested in my fax. My room number was emailed to me prior to our arrival and we were able to just go straight to the room without having to stop at check in which was wonderful. I took some pics, including the current color choices for mug lids.

I do not have any info on the hippy dippy pool refurb situation other than to say it was definitely open when we were there this past week. I have family staying at pop next year so I will be monitoring this thread for more info.

I'd really like to hear from someone in maintenance. They'd have the answer about pool refurbishment!

Also the Lifeguards should have current info-if someone is at POP now and could ask the Lifeguards that would be awesome.

Are the purple mugs the only ones without handles? Love the pics!

The purple ones did have handles, they are all just turned around so you can't see them in the picture. But purple is actually what I bought so I know for a fact it has a handle. I did not see any mugs without handles, but I may just have missed them, I didn't really search all over looking.

I asked a lifeguard. She said January for Hippie Dippie Pool refurb.

The purple ones did have handles, they are all just turned around so you can't see them in the picture. But purple is actually what I bought so I know for a fact it has a handle. I did not see any mugs without handles, but I may just have missed them, I didn't really search all over looking.

As each day went by, I saw fewer and fewer handleless cups. They may be all done by this point.

Is the computer pool closed RIGHT now? Will be there tomorrow and actually hoping to stay in a building close to the closed pool. I'm sure we are in the minority.

Do the washers and dryers in the laundry room still take coins or is it a card based pay system now? If it's a card based system do we use our personal credit/debit cards or do we need to load money onto a separate card?

FYI I called Pop today for my requests. I'm checking in 11/18-11/27. When I told her I wanted to be near the Hippy Dippy pool she told me they will be doing construction on the pool while I'm there.
