Disneys Pop CENTURY Resort , Help!!

HI TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP

WE ARE PLANNING A VACATION TO DISNEY WORLD NEXT SUMMER 2005. I HAVE BOOKED THE POP CENTURY RESORT IN A PREFERRED ROOM...

WE HAVE 4 KIDS , 18, 16, 10, AND 6 WILL BE THE AGES... WE HAVE GOTTEN AJOINING ROOMS IN THE PREFERRED SECTION...

WE HAVE STAYED AT THE ALL STAR MUSIC RESORT BACK IN 95 IN MARCH AND WAS VERY HAPPY... YES THE TOILET FLUSHING WAS DEFINENTLY NOTICABLE.. WE WERE ON THE FIRST FLOOR.

I AM WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR US... DO YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A RESORT MAP... I CAN GET A BETTER FEEL FOR THE PLACE... IS IT REALLY WAY TO BIG.... AND DO YOU THINK THE LINES FOR THE BUSSES WILL BE REALLY BAD... I DON'T REMEMBER THEM BEING SO BAD LAST TIME...

DO YOU KNOW IF YOU CAN GET A KING IN ONE ROOM AND TWO DOUBLES IN THE AJOINING ROOM?
ALSO i HAVE US ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR BUT AM WONDERING IF SHOULD MOVE US TO A FLOOR ABOVE FOR NOISE... LIKE THE 3RD OR 4TH... THEN WILL IT BE SO HOT BEING IN A ROOM ON THE 4TH FLOOR...
IS THERE ONE AREA TO BE IN THE BUILDING VERSES ANOTHER... WHAT IS THE BEST LOCATION IF YOU ARE IN THE PREFERRED SECTION... WAS THE POOL AREA OVERRUN....

WE WERE ON THE CORNER OF WALL STREET AT THE MUSIC RESORT AND IT WAS A LITTLE WALK BUT NOT BAD AT ALL...

IS PARKING REALLY THAT BAD FOR THE PREFERRED SECTION? HOW FAR DO YOU HAVE TO WALK?

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT AS I AM THINKING OF CHANGING MY REQUESTS...

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF TRIPLE A HAS BETTER RATES AND CAN YOU JUST ASK DISNEY FOR A TRIPLE A RATE WHEN YOU CALL OR DO YOU HAVE TO BOOK THROUGH TRIPLE A???

There are rooms that connect with one room having a king bed and one room with 2 doubles, but you aren't guaranteed to get these, just two connected rooms because of your children. If you are flexible, you have a better chance getting the king/double connected rooms than if you have lots of requests (like specific floor, specific bldg., etc.)

The poolside will be noisier than the back side of the resort. If you are in the back of the 70's bldg. you have the benefit of seeing the lake and from the back of the 50's bldg. you can see Spaceship Earth and some of the higher level Illumination fireworks.

Whether you are in an upper floor or lower floor should not make any difference because you are in air conditioning.

All of the bldgs. at Pop Century are closer to the main bldg. than those at the All-Star resorts. If you have seen the thread named
The All New Pop Century Far OUt FAQ, you should find a lot of questions answered to ease your mind.

There is only one place to catch a bus and it is NOT shared with any other resort. All of the reports I've seen on the bus transportation at PC has been wonderful.

To get the AAA rate, you do have to ask the cast member on the phone taking your reservations. I would also try some of the discount codes listed on this website:

are there any specific rooms or sides of the pop century 60's building that are a king ajoining two doubles that are better then others. Like which floor is better , quieter but nice view.... best floor to be on... etc...
