We are here now! Our room isn't ready so we are heading to AK to ride dinosaur (our kids' choice!). The app has been down all morning so it set a kink in our day. we now have some very strange FP's for today..going to AK now for dinosaur and then to MK tonight for big thunder. I'll be back to post when we get our room!

People have been reporting that you are allowed on the beach to watch FW's. There are CM's monitoring. (Sidenote, it would be a good time for them to start checking magic bands to limit this for Poly guests. )

We just got back. Beach is open at night. I did see a CM, maybe even 2. We sat back further on the beach where there are some swings, but there was a large group of people at the fences edge.

Ah lucky! I requested 3rd but we got 1st. We had to wait since it wasn't ready. Concierge offered to check but they only had 2nd they could move us to. Oh well still having a great time so far!

It really depends on how high up you are when you jump into the water.

For NYE if we are staying at the Poly in the Hawaii building with a TPV would it be a good view to see the fireworks from our balcony or will it be better to be in the park or down at the beach. I read where the Poly has piped in music. If I stay on our balcony could we hear it? tia

Quick check in from the Poly!

Just wanted to confirm that the beach was definitely open to watch the EWP and Wishes last night. We did not encounter any CMs checking bands, but we also entered from the pool. No one really hung around after, but CMs were there ushering us off as soon as the fireworks ended.

Hot tub was working yesterday, and pool was surprisingly empty. But it was also pretty dreary and drizzly - I'm sure things will change today!

Was someone asking about water? Cases are available in the upstairs gift shop for $6.99. And the little tiki statute is back in stock downstairs (he was sold out when we were here in December).

Here till Tuesday, so if there's anything anyone would like me to check on, just let me know!
