Is the east pool the only construction project that isn't finished?

Tikiman could probably answer this better than me, but I think it's the last big thing with the current construction. They have been doing some work on the walkways and exteriors of the longhouses, but nothing really major. I don't think there is anything else significant on the books to begin in the near future.

I'm looking for a room suggestions. My family and I are staying at in Hawaii building with the lagoons view. I know that some rooms have obstructed views. Thanks in advance.

I think I read that permits were filed for work in GCH?

I am contemplating staying here next December and wondering if anyone that has stayed here in december can give me some insight…is it still worth it at Christmas time??
Our first Poly stay was in winter, and we loved it, but can say I prefer summer. One of the advantages of Dec is ease of resort hopping to see the decorations at the other resorts, notably GF & WL.

I remember hearing that too, but the first floor was all just redone, so really the only thing left would be redoing the spaces 'Ohana & Kona occupy, unless there is some more utilitarian stuff that needs work.

I posted on the restaurant board, too. Has anyone done a private Wishes fireworks cruise out of the poly? We will have a party of 10 & it would be a thank you to my parents for taking us again...

Yes, I think it had something to do with upstairs. Either renovating kitchens, electric or plumbing?

I was there over July 4 week and stayed in Hawaii LV first floor, I think 1503. I posted pictures of my view, plus I walked down the path and took pictures of the views from other rooms too. I can't remember if I posted those pictures in this thread or the CL thread. I will take a look and come back here and link.

In the meantime, my view from 1503 (which is 3 rooms down from the lounge, and one floor below the lounge) was still awesome. Yes, the bungalows block the Castle view, but we still have plenty of lagoon and can see Wishes just great. Plus we can easily walk out onto the beach. We love the first floor, which I believe may all be LV now but Tikiman's site would probably have most accurate info.

Edit to add: Please see the next post for my pictures.

I'm thinking about drinks on the beach watching the MK fireworks on our first night (non-park day) is this allowed? This will be my first time at poly. We are staying at another resort my plan is the get in and unpack what we will have at that time and either swim or Disney Springs for dinner then over to the poly from there fireworks are at 10p that night and our flight is in at 2:20p
Any advice is greatly appreciated I also have reservations at Kona for dinner but my friend doesn't care for seafood and all of this is a surprise for her

There is some kinda FL law about open alcohol containers (i.e glasses) in public spaces. If you leave EPCOT via the International Gateway I know you can't take your drinks back to Beach Club unless you put them in a closed container like a Refill Mug, or a sports bottle.

Thank you

So only minor issue at the Poly is our charges did not get seperated. We figured it was all correct and didn't think to check until we got the final folio. So instead of our friends card pickinng up charges they charged everything to us. Not the biggest issue but we haven't had seperate cards on seperated MDE accounts ever work and it is frustrating to have to deal with the refunds etc to get it fixed.

Hooray!!!! MBs arrived today so it is time to finish packing!

:yay: :yay:

I agree ;).

I can't help as we've never done it, but hopefully someone else will be able to give some input :flower3:.
