I thought that word of mouth was probably the best way, but I really wasn't sure! Part of me feels kind of a little guilty about having the Disney wedding since we won't be able to have all these people there.I just don't want it to seem like "Hey! We're having a fabulous Disney wedding, but couldn't invite you! Buy us something anyway!" That's NOT who we are AT ALL, and even though I'm sure our family and friends know this and probably wouldn't even venture to think that- I'm still fearful. Maybe doing a wedding blog for those who can't join us? Again- I dunno.

Thanks for the word-of-mouth reassurance, though! I'm *sure* that the word will be spread- my mom and sister are almost as pumped as I am!![]()
Your guests will understand that they can't join you and I bet they are SUPER happy you're including them at the at-home reception. That's awesome of you!
It's good that your sister and mom are there for you! They will make sure word gets out...
The way I feel about the whole situation is this (and I hope no one thinks I'm a you-know-what for saying this) if you're having a small wedding at Disney then it's because it's important to you and your DF on where you get married. If you're having an at-home reception then it's nice to include the people you missed at Disney. And even if you don't have an at-home reception should you really be excluded from people wanting to buy you gifts for your wedding and celebrating your big day? I mean, people should love you no matter what and want to extend their congratulations either way and they will understand if it's a small wedding!
Did this make sense?
