Yes, they are selling and refilling mugs at Gaspy’s. A server fills a regular cup and you pour it into your mug (or just use the regular cup and keep your mug clean).

You generally need to show your mug or receipt from purchase.

I assume your friend bought the mug when there?

Yes she did, dont understand why they refused to refill. I was there last month and had no problems getting it refilled.

I'm starting to think there is more to the story than she is telling me lol. I don't think she had the mugs with her or could not provide proof of purchase which would make sense. I mean, I just ate there last month and I had my mugs with me that I purchased from a different resort and was able to fill them up at gasparilla grill without a problem.

I am getting so excited! We are 5 days out and things are in place for our trip. The children are so excited now that their dad has told them about the VIP tour and what it is. They are looking forward to getting on their favorite rides and have made their lists. I am looking forward to having a nice relaxing day at the cabana and watching my grandchildren having fun. We will go with the flow and be happy to be back!

We left Orlando this morning to go home and a guide was picking up a VIP tour out front of our hotel as we were loading the car. It randomly happened to be a guide we had had before and LOVE. The family she was picking up looked so excited. It reminded us of the great fun we had that day.

Fyi I just came in from using both GF pools midday and there was zero issue with crowding or finding loungers at either one. I did not show up until after noon, as well.

The hot tub was busy but surprise surprise on that. There was still enough room for me to climb in.

The Grand Floridian Cafe is reservation only, so I didn't notice any lines. I had a reservation for it but cancelled it to have room service instead. I didn't try to eat at Kona as we stayed at the Poly in July and ate there twice. Gasparilla's Grill is a cinch using mobile ordering.
