I am not sure if you know? There are 2 options for Deluxe king in Main Building. Floor 2 looks like the regular rooms with addition of the soaker tub. That floor is above the QS Gaspies and has a TPV and balcony.

I’m glad you chimed in here as I was having trouble remembering. So the octagon rooms and the king rooms over Gaspys are all in that same “Deluxe King” category?

Yeppers. Upon request for each style. I have had the tpv ones 3 times but only the octagon one once. I loved that room. The closet is huge lol.

I actually just asked my TA to call and see if available for dds bday 3/19. We may sneak down for the weekend

DH and I are traveling last week of April. I want to book YC or GF. We did YC November 2019 and GF for honeymoon 1989. Any advice given the current situation on either location is appreciated!

That was the category we were booked in originally for this May trip. I had put a request for the octagon room after falling in love with it on YouTube. But we could not justify the expense with no CL and with no Poly available to split with decided to change to Outer Building TPV so we could stay a few more days and make an MK/Epcot area split instead.

Does anyone know what time the boats begin running currently? We just got moved to GF from CR for our April trip. Our 1st priority is walking to MK for opening, but I was wondering about walking from GF over to Capt Cooks or Kona for breakfast at 7 am(ish).

I know we could then walk from poly to MK but that looks like quite a hike. Do boats start running from poly to either MK or CR to get us there by 8 am?

Not sure when they opened up, but I called today and was able to book one for April 9. They still had full and half days available for both the Beach and Courtyard** Pools.

**FYI, for the Courtyard Pool its a Poolside Patio, not a full Cabana. It's less expensive but doesn't have all of the amenities of a Cabana.

Yep, they are still 60 days out. And if I'm not mistaken they don't follow the +10 setup likes ADRs, I 'think' it needs to be 60 days from your cabana rental date.

My trip isn't until August so it seems like I'll have to keep an eye on things in case they change it. Do you mind telling me what the price was for half/full day for the Beach cabana? I know it'll most likely go up for the summer. Thank you!

Bummer! I'm hoping to snag two cabana days in August since we're doing a mostly resort stay. Guess I will have to call twice then.

The other version is the octagon shaped rooms without balconies but lots of windows.

When I was there last I chatted with a CM I recognized. If they are having issues with rooms they are placing people in the main building.

Make sure to go up to the 5th floor and look out the windows. The view is amazing!!!

We got the 2nd floor room, not the octagons. Looked 5000 times at the castle view straight out the window - LOVED the room and how close we were to everything.
