Disney's Grand Californian using points??

Good morning!! We're leaving this Saturday for a 6 night stay at DGC at DL/DCA. We are using points for this stay. Wondering if the nightly resort fee that is mentioned on the Disneyland website for this resort is included with our usage of points or will we have to pay cash for that in addition to the points that we are using for the stay? Thanks in advance.

I believe the resort fee is included in the points, but the valet parking is extra.
We have an upcoming stay at the GC on points in 3 weeks. (I would be interested in seeing how your stay on points goes ).

We stayed there on points when if first opened. It is a wonderful hotel. We are hoping to stay there again next summer for the DL celebration.

I seem to remember that the resort fee was included in points. As DC said, the parking is extra. Do note that there is a self parking lot too. I think you still have to pay to use it, but it is less than valet.

stayed last summer on points and we were not charged a resort fee.

Our trip was wonderful. We loved the direct access to the California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney. We also loved the robes in the rooms. They were great to wear to the pool. (Seems like everyone wore thier robes to the pool.) We had a courtyard view and could watch the monorail go thru. It was pretty quiet on the balcony other times. Be sure to remember your room key when you go to the pool. The pool is locked and you have to have your room key to gain access. Also be sure to enjoy the storytelling by the big fireplace at night. It was way cool.

We just stayed at GC in Feb on points. It was a really nice hotel. Although we felt that the front (outside) entrance of the hotel had a bit much to be desired, the rest of hte hotel was gorgeous. We had a room right above the entrance to DCA and an awsome view of GRR. It was really nice waking up to the sound of the rapids. Anyway, as for the resort fee, it is all included in the DVC points you used for your stay, you should not be charged anything extra. I do believe that I saw somewhere that the parking fee is waived for DVC members, but valet is extra. And yes, the parking lot is A LONG HIKE from the hotel, so you will probably want to use the valet. Have a great trip!
