Disneys Fast Pass+ system is a joke and an IT nightmare

I had three fast passes selected for February 20th and I tried to change the time for Space Mountain. I selected the later time in place of the existing one. What I have posted is exactly as it reads. It shows 4 fast pass reservations. I have tried to clear the early one and the system will not allow it. As you can see it even says the times overlap. I have logged off and back on, With no luck. There was no reason for Disney to even attempt to do this new system. I bet they have a former government employee making these decisions.

Very, very common glitch.

There has yet to be a solution.

I am organizing a trip for a first timer and the trip is in one month. I just don't see how anyone can enjoy the cost of a trip to constantly stand in line. And that may be the fast pass line.

Well, there was every reason for them to attempt the new system. Why they thought they would succeed based on their track record of system development is another question entirely and the one that appears to be relevant. Disney has never been able to maintain a stable online resort reservation system in an era when such systems are the industry norm, so the fact that they can't effectively manage a much more complicated system should not have been a surprise. And yet here we are.

Yep. Had this in November. The extra FPs never dropped off. Apparently the ones you see in the Change screens are the real ones, not sure if that is still true.

This happened to me last week. One day I had 5 FP+ listed because I tried to change the time on 2 of them. They all worked. I checked. I did not ride both 2x but I just checked the band to see if I got the green light and I did. 3rd week of January, in the park by myself and just taking it easy.

The glitches will cause you a lot of stress on a hard earned vacation. We had our fair share with FP+ and the bands both in January and on our October trip.

Want to just make a printout of the Fastpass reservations as they stand and bring that to the park and then just show up at the appointed times and enjoy your vacation?
