Sorry for resurrecting a post from months ago, but we just checked out this morning & I needed to come see if others had had this issue too. Sadly, certainly doesn’t seem fixed!
I am admittedly a light sleeper, but my traveling companion is not and he found it as annoying if not more so than me. Front desk also told us “it’s a known issue but it doesn’t bother most guests.”

. Well…shouldn’t an issue bothering ANY guest get looked into?
My Loop earplugs fixed it for me, but for those staying who don’t want to sleep with earplugs in, pack some tape or something sticky as suggested above in case you need to muffle the noise.
We are DVC but booked this trip less than 7 months out and there was no availability to be had. Sort of a bummer as it soured our otherwise lovely experience staying here for the first time (it would be enough for both of us to avoid booking again.)
