We just loaded up on cereal, yogurt, fruit, milk, and orange juice from Cafe Rix and Panchitos Gift shop for breakfast items to keep in our GDT room.
You also have a Keurig coffee maker with Joffrey’s coffee.

Today was our second day at DHS and we got a boarding group for today just like our first day for ROTR, Great ride!!!!

But our favorite ride was Flight of Passage at AK.
That was without words, WOW!!!
Be sure and don’t miss the Animal Encounters-Winged Encounters-The Kingdom Takes Flight. It starts at 9:15 and repeats every hour I believe with the last show at 3:15 right in front of the tree of life. It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dumb question. The hours on the website say 7-10pm but in the app it only shows breakfast and dinner (with only breakfast and dinner menus). Under normal times Mercado would be open all day, right?

I noticed the breakfast and dinner on the menus too, but didn't realize the app had a gap in the middle of the day unlike the website. How odd. Sounds like it might open with limited hours.

I'm not 100% but pretty sure in the past they were open all-day.

I guess so, unless hours aren’t loaded properly. ??

If anyone is able to find out if they have the capability to accommodate allergies at El Mercado with this new apparently grab and go set-up (specifically gluten-free), I'd really appreciate it!! Trying to decide about changing back to GDT from CCV, and that honestly will be the deciding factor.

We had a wonderful dinner at Three Bridges tonight and noticed this sign by El Mercado.

I read it's closed while El Mercado open because it would get too crowded for social distancing if all were open? I'm not sure the layout, but that's what people are saying...

The layout wouldn’t be overcrowded with both in my opinion, but I can see Cafe Rix being repetitive with Mercado, just in terms of what’s available. Mercado is a better setting than Cafe Rix with handling more people - the one morning we went to Cafe Rix the line wrapped around a bit outside the space and it’s not exactly the biggest place there (relative to Mercado, depending on how they have everything setup).

Whatever is going on, glad they are tinkering with things.

Mercado would definitely be more helpful in social distancing as it is so spread out. I bet Cafe Rix is closed because of the lack of conference goers. I agree it’s redundant.

Had a quick breakfast here the day they opened on our departure day and it hit the spot! I wanted to mention that the grab and go Minnie waffles were sog city but still tasty.
