Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

everything in the world can be charged to your room using your magic band. No reason to bring cash or credit cards into the parks anymore.

At moderate resorts you are given a $1000 charging maximum. After that maximum has been reached they charge your credit card on file. If you would like to pay on your account before you reach the maximum just simply go to the front desk and pay on the account. I did this about every 2 days so that I could keep up with charges and not have my credit card pinged. the night before you leave you can go to the front desk and pay off your account or if you would rather you can simply allow them to charge the final bill to the card on file.

thanks for the help. I had looked through that little book after coming across this feed, but didn't see anything. Thanks also for the tip. I'm sure you can get carried away after a few days of flashing a wrist band. lol

Yes my kids enjoyed the freedom of the swipe! Lol I allowed my teenage children to have charging privileges, it was very convenient and they were quite responsible about bringing me receipts.

It's still a good idea to have some cash on you. There have been plenty of reports of magic bands failing at restaurants, register issues, etc.

Actually there are still quite a few stand alone carts that do not have Point of Sale machines so do not have a link to the system to use the Magic Bands. So not everything can be charges using your Magic Band, a vast majority but not everything.

Does anyone know if there are kid yogurt options available in the convenience shop at CSR? My kids are yogurt tube junkies and that would certainly help stave off hunger on our later breakfast days. We could do 'regular' yogurt too but they make less mess with tubes or the drinks kind.

Thanks in advance!

They will most likely work on 1 building at a time and close the building they are working on. So you shouldn't notice any construction at all.

I check out menus from this site and allears and in allears I saw assorted yogurts listed at the quick service restaurant (cant think of name)

That's good - I am hoping that means single serve closed containers as I want to keep them stashed in the room for morning kid feeds. I have heard the "shop" at CSR is great, but I have yet to find a video or pictures of the dairy compartment to see if they have yogurt tubes. Was considering Garden Grocer but don't really want to order $40 of stuff....

Does anyone know if it's still possible to get a large pizza at PM? I think the menu just has the "personal" size 9" pizzas listed, so I'm guessing the answer is no, but... I was just hoping! That would be so much more practical.
I saw a woman at the checkout with a boxed pizza on Wednesday last week and another person inline ahead of me ordered a whole pizza. I am not sure what they cost though. I ordered a personal pizza and it was a rectangluar pizza with 8 slices.

i'm doing the same debate over beverages and a few snacks.

Thinking of stopping at sam a club today and grabbing ten $150 gift card packs to pay my room and other things like food.

Is there anything I should be aware of that would make this idea good or bad?
I have never don't this before but It seems straight forward, call ahead and pay down the room so I don't have to bring the cards with me.
Followed by using my mb to make purchases. As long as I don't go over the $1000 limit and/or stop at the front desk the day before we leave, I'm good???

I just purchased $100 gift cards with my Target Redcard. We arrive 5/25, so I wanted to used the gift cards to pay off our Room Only reservation. It was no problem at all. The CM applied the cards over the phone. He also told me that the extra $18 from my last card would be available for room charges.
You should probably still bring the physical gift cards with you in case there is a problem or part of the charges need to be refunded. Otherwise, it is a great idea! I saved 5% this way.

Here now, no connecting rooms but that's the story of my life with Disney. Two rooms on different floors of the same building and the third two buildings away.

Peppers is no where near as good taster selection wise as the last time we stayed here
Nachos were pretty good though

Anyway the cm told me that if you have "express check out" that they run charges every night vs at the end of your stay. I know this was mentioned earlier but wasn't clear on how or why, seems like it has to do with express check out or not

Also, on the one day I decided to not take cash or cards to the park, we stayed late around Boardwalk following our dinner at Beach Club and decided to take a cab back to CSR. Fortunately, my wife had her wallet!

Always a good idea to have some backup, even if you never end up using it.

I had heard that to about Magic Bands and did see one family at concierge trying to get issues worked out with thier bands. During our 8 day stay our plan was to charge everything to the room with the MB, except tips. I paid the tips in cash and we were able to charge everything else except for gelato in Italy and glow necklaces from a cart at MSEP. It was very convenient to room charge, and we actually spnet less than I thought we would. I also did carry cash in my phone case in case there was a problem. We had no problems using our MB for the dining plan.
