95 days to go!!! Getting excited to get back to disney and try CBR for the first time. I'm planing on requesting the cabana sections, what are the chances I'll get my request? I've stated twice at POR and always got my exact requests, even doing very busy times, at CBR, I was not as lucky. Just wondering if requests seems to be granted here

Thank you to the OP for this comprehensive overview of the Coronado Springs. My family and I will be staying here for the first time in November (24 days away!) and we're really looking forward to it :-)

How have people found the transportation to and from the resort? We stayed at the French Quarter for our last visit and became frustrated with the bus transport routes, particularly late at night when you'd be driven the whole way around Riverside first, or returning from Downtown Disney via Typhoon Lagoon and Riverside. Does this resort have dedicated buses, or should we expect to share buses with any other destination?

:thanks:

Hi there!

We are staying at CSR next month, and I'm looking to have a few things shipped there (non-food). How far in advance can we have things shipped to the resort? It's nothing big (just some clothes that we can't order here in Canada!).

Thanks :)

We stayed at CSR in earlier September. We did not share buses with other resorts. I found that the buses were really good. Rarely had to wait more then about 15 minutes to and from the resort.

CSR has dedicated buses and is generally considered the best resort bus service at WDW. Enjoy!

Man, I really miss CSR! We are taking a last-minute trip next month to see the Osborne lights one last time. We are trying to keep it as budget friendly as possible, so we are staying in All Star Movies for the first time. I'm nervous about it, haha. But, hey, we're going to Disney! :cool1:

We stayed at All-Star Music a few years ago. it is not as nice looking as CSR but it was still a nice resort. Parking was very confusing though.

Oh I'm sure it's not as nice, and I don't expect it to be since it's a value and not a moderate. Still, I like trying to stay at as many of the hotels as I can! Hoping to stay at Fort Wilderness someday!

I am trying to as well. In the spring will be our 4th trip and we have never stayed at the same resort.

I just switched our 1 night CBR ressie to CSR. My kids loved the pictures of the pool. I am hoping they will like it. Never been to CBR but thought they would enjoy that pool. Keeping my fingers crossed I made the right choice switching here??!!

Has anyone requested a roll away bed recently at CSR? I'm still trying to find out recent experiences regarding whether this has been discontinued. Is it still $20/night?

As of July roll aways are no longer available at any of the values or moderates. They are only available at the deluxes that sleep 5 when a family of 5 gets a room without a day bed.

Both resorts have great pools. I'm sure they will love it.

We stayed at Movies in 2013 and enjoyed it. Rooms are small, but for as little time as we spent in the room, it was just fine!

Another CRITICALLY IMPORTANT QUESTION: If I park my butt and my book at one of the quiet/leisure pools, how far away is the closest pool bar?

Rancho's to pool bar is a very short walk. Always buy two,so you can drink one on way back and one while reading. Works for me everytime
