I do like the new rooms even though I don't think the theme fits a deluxe resort. I do wish they kept the desk though, we used it for hair and makeup while someone else was getting ready in the bathroom. The extra space was needed when you had 4 adults in a room

Arrived at the CR about one hour ago. There are still construction crews everywhere. Appears that they are still working on floors 8, 7, and 6. Almost impossible to find a parking spot. Finally had to drive up to the front of the resort and they opened up a lot where employees park.

More issues here! Had to have Magic Band reset three times. Phone in room not hooked up. Noticed it was not plugged in so took care of that. I'll send Disney a bill for my IT services!

On the Bay Lake side, appears they are still working on the lower two floors

I think the new restaurant looks really ugly. Like an ugly version of my grandmother's living room from 1976.

It appears the rooms on the Bay Lake side, 7th floor, have been completed.

Many Housekeepers are up and down that floor now cleaning them

We only got here today & I am already super frustrated with the monorail. Been on it twice today. We’ve had to hold “for traffic” before each stop both times. 35 minutes from TTC to CR with almost no one riding it.

At 9:40 pm, sat between the GF & MK for a “maintenance check” on the train in front of us.

There are groups of people on almost every floor on the outside stairwells are that face the MK. I'm assuming that they are waiting to enter the MK tomorrow when it opens for the 50th. Seems like security would clear them out.

Hmm, Are they waiting for fireworks??? I didn't think there was any tonight. So they're just standing there? I dont get the people wanting to get there SUPER early. You are guaranteed entry, assuming you have a park pass.

Just take an elevator to whatever floor you want and walk to the end of the hallway and out the door

I just wish they would scrap the cartoony stuff from the deluxe resorts (including DVC resorts) and just stick to resort theming. Put all the cartoon garbage you want in the values.
