I just wish they would scrap the cartoony stuff from the deluxe resorts (including DVC resorts) and just stick to resort theming. Put all the cartoon garbage you want in the values.

Kids stay in Deluxes too! I know, i am still one, even though I pay for deluxe!
My opinion, all hotels should have a lot of Disney theming. DVC, no, but hotels yes.

Looking forward to tonight's fireworks. Wonder if there will anything added as today is the actual 50th.

I couldn't get the soundtrack for the fireworks to come on the tv last night. It's usually channel 105.

There was some talk recently about no desk in the renovated room. The angled part of the couch and the very heavy table make for a really nice desk, now that I’ve had a chance to try it. I was worried about it too, but this would work reasonably well for me.

Unpopular opinion. I like this bathroom a lot more than the Poly post renovation bathroom. It’s much more functional.

Just left CR. I've never seen the concourse so calm before. I expected lots of people, maybe some photo ops like they do around holidays but nothing...pretty surprised. Dinner at Steakhouse 71 was excellent.

Appears to me that the bathroom was enlarged. The smaller room with the toilet had lots more space. In the early days of the resort, there was also a shower stall in the same area as the toilet in addition to having a tub.

Ha! It was a very good chocolate cake. Nothing mind blowing but if you like chocolate, definitely worth getting for sure.
