Anyone know if you can hook an Apple TV up to the studio TV at BLT?

Not sure about Apple specifically, but we had no trouble hooking up Roku sticks last week on both tv's in our one bedroom.

How has bell services been recently at BLT? It was a bit of a mess last November when we checked in, but it was also smack in the middle of the pandemic so understandably so.

Planning to possibly have some deliveries made that would go through bell services, but if they are overrun may skip it.

I was there a few weeks ago and had no issues.

If anyone ever stays club level I ran into Janet at AKL’s Club Level this weekend. The cms are hoping to go back to their home resorts once they reopen cl.

It was so nice to see her, she has always been great in the lounge!

Hi! I am new here and have plans to arrive to bay lake towers this week. Is there a lot of construction and noise? Is the resort restaurants open? I was reading up on some pages here and it seems not the best choice to stay right now? Thank you for filing me in!

The construction is over at the Contemporary. That shouldn’t interfere much for you if you’re staying at BLT. The Wave is closed and going to be turned into a steakhouse. Contempo Cafe is open for QS options. Chef Mickey and the California Grill are open if you want table service.

Yes.
Also BLT can use the CR pools and hot tub, it’s a short walk.

Hi! I am new here and have plans to arrive to bay lake towers this week. Is there a lot of construction and noise? Is the resort restaurants open? I was reading up on some pages here and it seems not the best choice to stay right now? Thank you for filing me in!

Also we stayed there in May /same construction as now. There’s very little influence on BLT.

There are 2 banks of elevators. One bank you take to get to level 5 to walk to Cr lobby level 4. That one can be busy. The other back on north end usually is quiet if needed. Walking to MK either bank will work.

It is easy to mobile order Contempo Cafe from blt. Place your order, tap the I’m here. Wait 5 mins and walk over it should be done . Most orders 15-20 mins for food.

Drinks or just cupcakes would be quicker.

You can eat there at Contempo or at The Outer Rim bar next door. You can carry it back to your room but there are also tables outside back by the pool/marina area. Sometimes it’s just nice to have options.


The adult beverages from outer rim, if you want to walk with it ask it “to go” they will put in plastic.

California Grill has a bar with limited seating, you can try for stand by seating for dinner too. It’s in the APP or ask at the podium floor2.

I thinks that’s it for now. Have fun! It’s a cool resort.

I keep watching for news on this. We'll be in the Garden wing Sept 30-Oct 2. Kinda want the old rooms - as I've only stayed at BLT and not in the main building before. So would like to see the old 'style' before they replace it. Then we'll be back for the 4th of July in '22 in the tower, so will see the new rooms then.

Hi! We have a Garden Room booked September 23 - 26. Is there construction happening that will bother us there? Also, are monorails running to and from MK and Epcot? I see that the monorail hasn't been listed on the Disney website as transportation options when you look up resorts.

We could switch resorts if there are any major negatives to the Garden rooms. No other rooms available at the Contemporary now though. We come to Disney a lot and have always wanted to check out the Contemporary - previously stayed at WL, Port Orleans Riverside, Fort Wilderness, AoA, Yacht Club... we've enjoyed them all!

Yes, the Epcot monorail has been running for about a month now.

The answer is no one really knows. All of the rehabs/construction in the Contemporary Tower are supposed to be completed in late September. I don't think anyone knows if that will actually happen.

The last operating date of California Grill in October 2 so you would certainly think that Steakhouse '71 (replacement for The Wave) would be open at least by October 3. Disney has not released any info regarding when California Grill will reopen, just that October 2 will be it's last day of operation for awhile.
