Since so many of us Club Level lovers fly often this is your reminder to check for airline credits from last year or this year.

After I booked my 9/28 flight today I played with the APP and found I had a $249 credit. Same day cancels allowed so I canceled and rebooked the $199 flight and added 1st class. SO total OOP was $125 and I will be taking 2 bags that trip so that helps with those fees too!

Also check points for these flights. I had a flight # change so I cancelled the flight as per the rules, got a refund, and rebooked using a lot less points than they wanted 3 weeks ago. People are cancelling (so prices going down) and schedule revisions are making it easy to get actual refunds, allowing you to rebook. If they cancel your flight (flight # gets changed) it is a cancellation, not a schedule change, and you are entitled to refund.

I've come to the realization that I'm dirt poor this trip
Got our rooms set up, airfare, transport, even have my pass set ... we're just not eating.
Well, obviously we will eat... just no expensive dining options.

There's a family issue I won't bore anyone with, but I was supposed to be reimbursed certain expenses... that money came from my travel funds.

There are far worse problems in this world to be had, I'm not complaining... in fact I'm blessed to be having this trip with my kids. Just planning how to utilize the kitchenette to the best it's ever been. Club level will help relax me at the end of my stay.

CL Poly is a dream for me that hasn't died quite for my April 2022 trip. The King Kamehameha suite was on the table for that trip when the Poly first opened reservations back in Feb. I couldn't pull the trigger with the lack of bedding. We have our parents, the kids (now 16 and 17) and us for that family reunion trip. We have 3 standard view bedrooms at the poly booked for about the same price (maybe less) instead.

I'm not going to pay that much and sleep on a pull out couch. No way....

Got a call from DSS. I have std room 1 night then 2 nights cl. They put me in the same room all 3 nights so I can grab breakfast the next morning and not deal with moving rooms. Yay.

I arrive after the lounge closes so didn’t book cl that night. I was WILLING to transfer the next day but I’m sure glad I don’t have to.

I told him you’re going next week and he’s upset (for you, and all that are going next week) that no details have been released yet. He literally talks about it daily!! He even suggested today we should add CL to our Nov. trip, too. Someone is jonesing for CL!!

I was going to suggest that! To choose an UBER XL or Uber Black.

AND if you decide you'd just rather have a dedicated driver, I've used Tony Hinds as my go-to driver to and from the airport and he does this kind of transfer. He is just a delight. I'm guessing he'd charge around $60 (please PM me if you want his email / phone number)

Any idea if he has something big enough for a group of 12? (8 adults, 2 kids, 2 infants). From MCO to WDW?

So the announcement about Boma opening is great news. We had been hoping it would open for our trip later this month. It feels like most aspects of this trip have been because of things reopening or something new:

- originally booked Wilderness Lodge when it was announced to open.
- changed a few days over to Animal Kingdom Lodge Club Level when that was announced
- booked dinner at Citricos when that was announced
- was able to get the AP preview of the Remy ride which led to
- extending the trip and adding a few days at Caribbean Beach and
- dinner at Sebastian's bistro
- and now going to try for dinner (and maybe a breakfast) at Boma.

Thanks! I know, it’s so exciting! I’m sure you’ll post plenty of pics! He wants to know if the food will be served by a CM or the typical self service and/or if the food will be prepackaged (similar to what US was doing at their CL). He’s also curious if there will be the same level of offerings or scaled back. I have not heard from DSS yet, however, our trip is still a few months away.

For anyone who stays regularly at AKL CL, I have some news of our “family”.

Don is officially retired (at last!). Gerry has also officially retired. Christina has been displaced and will not be returning, nor will Erika or Nick. We will have a whole new crew!

So, I want to ask here since many of the other threads are a tad, shall we say *snippy* (and we did discuss this here earlier). BUT do you guys think they will release any tickets for the "sold out" Boo Bash dates? I waited a day too late to buy a ticket (for Aug 24th party) and I just need one (And, in all honesty, if I get one, I'll probably sub it for going to MK earlier in my trip)

They definitely have my number - and my credit card

Seriously, they HAVE been in money making mode based on all the trips I've done post Covid (This will be my 6th trip) so I will stay hopeful, keep stalking the Boo Bash ticket page, and like both you (@GADisneyDad14 and @jods said, check when I get there with guest services.



I arrive late on the 21st so I have a couple of days to keep trying.

I am usually a MORNING, Rope Drop person, but I am challenging myself on this trip to not rope drop every single day...especially since I'm there for 2 weeks. And going to an After Hours Event would definitely encourage me to rest a bit the day of...and the day after, I have a 9:30 breakfast at Topolinos....

There's a possibility I may 1 extra boo bash ticket for the 24th. I won't know until Wednesday night or Thursday. Don't want to give details yet. Let me know if you are interested before I call disney (if I have that available I will still have to call for other stuff).
