Ours is the regular resort savannah view club level, not DVC. They did tell me I’m on the 4th floor and the lounge is on the 6th.So they didn't move you to a savanna view hotel room? I'm guessing that's becuase they can't replicate the amenities in that kitchen, bath and with the washer/drier. I've super curious what they're doing up there though that they've moved all us studio folk.
Your pictures are wonderful and very much needed, especially with the new refurbishments. We hated the dark wood of the old Poly resort and it was a main reason we avoided that resort. I am so glad to see that they have made the rooms beautiful.I hesitated to post pics, but I remember trying to research Tonga for a multi-room/multi-generation family trip a couple of years ago and it was SO HARD to find accurate info and pics of the suites online.
So looking at the pictures of the King K suite with my wife this morning, then browsing the room reservations on the Disney site, planning our WDW strategy for when we win the lottery, etc. We saw similar suites at AKL and wondering if Club Lounge access included when booking suites at AKL?
all those plates and cups.......and a tiny little fridge, sometimes I don't understand their logic.
I was just thinking about her and hoping she was ok since she hasn't been around. Sending prayers her way for a good recovery!Hello everyone, I have been in contact with CogswothTN quite a bit lately. She has had some setbacks and I am going to ask everyone for some prayers for her. She had a colonoscopy on Monday and had polyps removed, one was questionable. Tuesday she was home and began to have a lot of pain, she went to the ER, and had emergency surgery. Her colon was perforated and leaking out. They removed a small portion of the colon and stitched it back. After she heals she will have a MRI and endoscopic ultrasound to check on the 4 mm cyst/ tumor on her pancreas.
She has been through so very much this year and has been a great friend to me as Jim is going through his chemo treatments for his cancer. Please everyone keep her and her family in your prayers as she goes through these next few weeks of recovery and tests. The doctors say the recovery from surgery is 4-5 weeks. Thanks everyone!
I have definitely been thinking about her but do not want to be intrusive with pms during a trying time for her. She needs all her strength for her recovery. Let her know we have been looking for her and keeping her in our thoughts!Hello everyone, I have been in contact with CogswothTN quite a bit lately. Let's face it we all want to book this and we have already started our rationalization process. This is looking from the Master BR door across the "catwalk" over towards the separate bedroom. The railing used to be dark wood, now all glass. They also painted all of the previously brown wood roof trusses/accents. You see some of the same new color treatment in the CL lounge in Hawaii as well.

Here's the second bedroom. This is on the far end of the Tonga Longhouse so has a nice view of the marina, but not of the MK.
