confused again with banking questions

we have an aug UYand just got bank from our end of jan yearly trip
my dashboard shows
this is under vacation point overview
zero points for the 2025 use year
I banked our 7 extra points so they would be for the 2026 UY correct
which would be from the end of july 2026 to aug 1 2027 am I correct in this
2026 it shows zero vacation points left to bank now thats because I already book the left over points correct
and Ill get my 2027 points aug 1 of this year

One part Im confused on is we always go the end of jan and I make the resveration at the 11 month window
so were getting ready now to book for 2027 yet I cant remember how I did this since we dont have the points yet

but another issue is for next year we decided to bank our 2027 points into 2028 UY
so when can I do this
I always thought we had to bank by the end of march for an aug UY but how can that be since we dont get the new points till aug
so when can I bank the 2027 points
I know Im missing something here somewhere but I cant see it
hope this all makes some sense
please guide me

Because you are in your August 2025 UY, it will only show how many points that can be banked for the current UY.

Since you already banked the 7, there are 0 left.

You won’t see what you can bank for the 2026 UY until that UY actually begins on Aug 1st.

Even when you choose 2026 UY to see points, the banking box does not change. It reflects only current UY because you can’t bank points until that UY starts.

A stay in January 2027 will use 2026 points (that is, the points that become available in August 2026, plus the 2025 points you banked). When you go to book a January 2027 stay, the system will apply the 2026 points even if you don't have all of them yet, because you will have them before the stay starts.

You can bank the 2027 points once you have them in August 2027. They will be available for banking until March 2028.

I think where you may be getting confused is that your banking deadline in March is the calendar year after the August your UY starts.

So, first start with the UY of the points…and then you know you can bank from Aug1st up to March 31st of the following year.
