LOL when the CM told us what they were serving ‘for the kids’, I was the one who got excited They really are delicious! I wonder what they’ll have tonight


On another note, I’m SO bummed, they no longer serve Riesling!! There’s only so many mimosas and Pogmosas you can have in a day No more Mickey Waffles in SL either. Not happy. Gotta get up and ready now. FP’s start at 9:30 today! Gotta look fab for Mickey

We are at the Poly now and they have nuggets but individually plated. Those chicken breast nuggets are my go to at Disney QS and I just love them.
Is it crazy where you are? Poly is packed in CL. I felt so bad for the CMs they just could not keep up. I’ve never seen it so crowded. Two families were fighting, so crazy! Holiday crowd I guess. Still so happy to be here. After so many
Park days we are finally having some down time!

Poly CL tonight had:
Chicken nuggets
Uncrustables
Pineapple, caramel and grapes
Edamame salad
Pork belly
Crab Rangoon
Citrus shrimp- poached I think
Pita, veggies, and cheese

It was crazy crowded and I could not get picks I will try tomorrow though @trishadono !

I have 3 friends there with families now. Probably adding to the crowds. Planning on staying t resort and not parks.

Starting to look like the 4th from last year!! Sky is getting scary!!!!

Heading to the GF Sugar Loaf next week and wondering if anybody who's been there lately knows if they are still serving trifle at tea time and if so what type it's been lately.

The first few years we stayed club level they served either a strawberry or raspberry/custard one, but the last time we were there they were serving one with orange marmalade and my kids were very disappointed. lol. They are hoping for the raspberry one again.

Yeah I’m getting worried. The club was so crowded we are sitting on the beach and I keep feeling drops. We may have to scoot back inside!

I received an email this morning welcoming my family (DD and me) to the Old Faithful Club for our vacation later this month. It was so nice to receive a personalized message like that! Our anticipation and excitement for this trip is bittersweet. For those who have been following my story, my mother passed away last month. This is a difficult summer for DD and me. We are looking forward to our Disney trip and checking out of all of that’s happened in our lives these past few months. Disney very much feels like our happy place, away from all of the cancer and hospitals and hospice we’ve lived these past few months with my mom. The email this morning was a nice surprise...a reminder that something fun is in our future.

Note tomorrow (the 4th) will be a ZOO at the clublevel. I have NEVER seen such a rush for the dinner so that people were lined up on the stairwell and out to the 3rd floor hallway! For hot dogs!

They didn't have it every day, but usually once or twice during our week stay there would be trifle. I wonder if they've done away with it all together then.

My daughter and I enjoy the scones and I know the exact tarts you mean and we call them jam tarts as well. Our son will definitely be disappointed if they don't have trifle one day. lol I make it at his request for New Year's dessert each year but getting it on vacation too is always a bonus for him.
